I really fucking want a P08 Luger, but I don't wanna shell out my boipucci for the money for a legit one. Is the Mitchell Arms one any good? Or are there any good reproductions?

If you want one you best get that boipussy wet.

I was about to post a thread asking the same question. I guess I'll have to wait until I get a better job before I buy one, but by God, I will own one before I die, and that goes for several other weapons as well

Here in EU real ww2 P08 cost the same as a glock.
As much as I want a real one I'd rather have a repro so there's no guilt in carry or abuse.
Like a cobra vs a kit car.
One you don't have to worry over

would you like it with a supressor?

This. I'd wanna take good care of a real one cuz it's a piece of history. I wanna take it out to a range and run it through rounds with a full load and not feel bad.

On a follow up, why did this design not linger? Was it just muh complicated?

It was more do to Germany being the only one to make toggle-lock pistols. (and even their later guns stopped using the action)
The rest of the world didn't really care, since they all used different actions for their guns.

well here in the USA we can actually own both.

Theres a model made in 22 that ill see at gun shows now and then, cant think of the brand, usually pretty cheap. Always think about picking one up because 22 pinking with a luger.

yet people still shoot garands, nagants and mausers like it's nothing. lugers aren't really rare, they're just not popular.
