I think for the average dude bro, a pencil barrel with a small muzzle device, perhaps a 12" mLok handguard with one of those minimalist stocks would get you a rifle significantly lighter than 90% you'd see in a regular basis. Just a pencil barrel alone does a lot. If you wanted to get autistic, a 14.5 with a pinned/welded flash hider, lightweight BCG with light buffer and an adjustable gas block.
