Are there really people who think a glock is as reliable as a USP?

This is a blue board which means that it's for everybody (Safe For Work content only). If you see any adult content, please report it.

Why?
>>
>>33171746
Same reason white children think their dad has the biggest cock in the world.

They've never known a REAL black gun/cock.
>>
>>33171746
They're both good.

OP is a fag.
>>
Denial of reality to justify thier choice, similar to the fox's sour grapes. They can't afford a USP so they genuinely believe their Glock is "good enough" as a coping mechanism. With everyone saying Glocks are "reliable" meaning that any mook who can pull a trigger can use one due to the lack of manual safety, it's easy to see how they could instead choose to take that as a consensus the Glocks are mechanically reliable like the USP in order to help maintain their delusions.
>>
>>33171858
not equally so though
>>
>>33171764

same reason black kids grow up to be niggers, too many bad role models & fake news b.s. from libby media

actual usp owner here, people think glocks are just as reliable as USPs because they pretty much are. Both firearms are fucking tough and have long service lives. The glock finish beats out all hk finishes other than the old mk23 finish. The usp can take hotter loads due to its slide weight and stiff recoil spring.
>>
They're both made plastic. So no point in arguing over which budget turd will last long enough to worry about reliability
>>
>>33171746
Mechanically speaking, glocks are more reliable due to the smaller number of parts. They are arguably less durable though because usp's have a slightly heftier slide and chamber area.
>>
>>33172892
you are stupid my man, the data is not on ur side
>>
>>33171746
I own a Glock 21. I owned (past tense) a USP tactical. Guess why that is, anon. Spoiler: the Glock never failed and the USP was an unmitigated piece of shit that didn't reliably cycle.

H&K is a marketing company with garbage products. You'd know this if you'd tried them instead of mindlessly fanboying on the internet.

>"B-b-but it costs more! You're just a p-poorfag!"

Hahaha, retards.
>>
>>33172908
Show me the data where usps have fewer stoppages than glocks and I'll believe you.
>>
>>33172937
Sure you did buddy.

One will not strike the primer twice without racking the slide if the round doesn't go off the first hit

Second will strike the primer the second time without the need to rack the slide again and it will make the round go off the second try

The glock does not have this second ability but the USP does

Shooting American ammo out of German pistol is a crime against humanity and god himself.

Please shoot 9mm for it is German ammo made to be used in German pistols.

>>
>>33173143
Except for the fact that if the round doesn't go off on the first strike, it almost certainly won't go off on the second. Second strike is a meme that can get you killed because you'll stand there pulling a trigger uselessly instead of racking the slide to fix the problem.

Ur move bud
>>
>>33173682
tfw the legion marketing is so fucking cringe but they really are beautiful
>>
>>33174285
Cool but thats just hk fanwank. There's no information beyond "a usp once fired x number of rounds without breaking." There's similar anecdotes of glocks firing hundreds of thousands of rounds without breaking. Where's the objective side by side reliability comparison to glocks?
>>
>>33171746
Well there both reliable but the USP is a better shooting experience
>>
>>33174520
http://www.ammoland.com/2016/11/heckler-koch-mark-23-pistol/

Now obviously the mark 23 and USP are not the same, so subtract 1000 rounds or more if you want off the data.
>>
>>33174278
At least with the usp you can die trying because either way your gonna die trying to rack the slide which take time.
>>
>>33175356
>not carrying with one in the chamber
>>
>>33175376
The fuck?

Obviously the gun would already have ome in the chamber weren't you reading the posts above?

Isnt the USP barrel octagonal?
>>

Ive found the USP to be more malfunction prone while limpwristing than the Block.
Neither is magic, both work well

>>
>>33175356
>Either way you're gonna die.

The couple seconds difference between just racking the slide and pulling the trigger multiple times and then racking the slide might be the difference between life and death. I don't want the temptation to waste time in a gunfight built into my weapon. Imo double-strike is a liability.

So which gun is more forgiving on limp wristing?
>>
>>33175843
My dick
>>
>>33173165
The USP was built for .40 you dingle-doo
>>
>>33175174
So maybe somewhere between 3 and 6k rounds between stoppages on average? That's easily achievable for glocks and other guns as well. Anecdotally, the only time I've shot a usp .45 was at a rental range. It jammed 3 or 4 times per magazine. Granted, the springs were probably trashed because they'd never been replaced and a glock would have fared similarly, but its important to remember that your gun is not less susceptible to fuck ups because of the brand name stamped on the slide.
>>
>>33176533
NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
>>
>>33177314
It's sadly true. The .45 version came out several years later and the USP was designed from the ground up around .40 Short and Weak.
>>
>>33177336
I feel so violated by this....
>>
>>33171746
People believe the "perfection" bullshit. Glock spends more money marketing to civilians.
>>
>>33176910
That's +p ammo by the way
>>
>>33177565
In the mark 23, not in the usp.
>>
>>33177363
lol why? 40 is an extremely violent cartridge, guns designed around it shrug off weak stuff like 9x19 and .45
>>
>>33178160
Because 40s&w is crap and uncommon and expensive
>>
>implying the USP is reliable
IT'S NOT A SOLDIER'S GUN! IT'S UNRELIABLE!
>>
>>33178784
resoundingly incorrect on all three accounts, noguns
>>
Damn the page is down. There's this test a guy ran some 10 years ago, and it floats around on gun forums where he torture tests the Glock and USP and the Glock out performs it hands down. Sadly the page has succumbed to Internet age.
>>
>>33171764
well, to be fair, nigger children have never had a black father around the home, either.
>>
>>33173029
>keeping a firearm that has ever needed warranty service.
and I'm the poorfag?
shiggy.
>>
>>33178921
I kinda wanna read it now
>>
>>33179046
it's one of those

"we jammed sand between the hammer and firing pin on a USP and what-do-you-know it didn't shoot!" We tried to jam sand between those parts on the glock but it didn't have them so it worked!!!!!!!!

It's like a 25 year old anecdotal "test" back when striker was the new hotness and everything hammer was fragile and shit
