Is there any reason to open a range in a rural area? I'd like to get into the firearm business for myself and a range seems like the cheapest and simplest option, but Northern Michigan is almost perfect fuddland, with swathes of open fields and woods that are just fine for shooting. On the other hand, my town doesn't have much in the way of indoor ranges. Should I bother?
