So... What all DA/SA subcompacts are there? This is the only one I know of and it's overpriced and that 1911 safety and shit, I guess there's the old bodyguard and lc9 but not counting those. Why does it seem like most subcompact single stack 9s are striker fired? Is it better to just get a revolver at that point if you want a hammer fired gun?

Unaffordable on your mcdonalds paycheck and overpriced are not the same. Saged so it can die a swift death

P938 isn't a subcompact, isn't DA/SA either. P2000SK/P30SK, CZ 75 Rami, Sig P224, etc. are subcompact DA/SA pistols.

The HK is the best among that group.

Pic related is a good gun. It is pretty steep though. My dad has one that I've shot a few times. If I was going to buy a pistol that size I wouldn't hesitate to get the 938. I just always carry a full size so I have no need for it. I guess the reason why a lot of sc's are strikers is because there's just less shit to get hung up on a draw and less external controls is usually preferred.

I really don't know why Shield sized DA/SA 9mm's aren't a thing yet. Then again, I don't give a shit about subcompacts and carry a PX4 Compact easily.

Your best bet is a P239

fuck that

That isn't a subcompact.

OP, go with what >>33161234 said and pick up a nice P30SK if you want a solid subcompact. If you want to step it up a size, the USP compact and many Sig guns are good bets.

I personally can't carry the P938 because of the "cocked and locked" requirement to feeling safe carrying a single action. My safety is double action, always has been, probably always will be.

The sig 224 is no longer in production IIRC
>>
>>33161360
Agreed, you're a dumb nigger who pays MSRP tier prices
>>
>>33161403
Ontop of that, it was poorly engineered thus being discontinued. The P250 was also recently discontinued by Sig which is somewhat a shame.

The best DA/SA subcompacts are an LEM P30SK/P2000SK or a CZ RAMI BD.

Cz 2075 are choice

But they are incredibly rare.
