Sadly, I've not had a chance to shoot it yet. I rarely get to the range anymore. I can tell you that the trigger pull is atrocious. I picked it up for $250, looked like an odd duck so I did some research and decided I wanted it.

It's a pretty fun range toy, although the only thing that's annoying is that it's a little picky with the magazines. I tried to modify a few USGI Thompson mags to fit it, and if they have any wiggle room whatsoever, it'll cause feeding issues. The newly made factory mags work well enough, but the problem is that they're like $50-$70 each which is retarded since you can get USGI mags for under $20

Thanks, I was mostly going for an HK91 SG-1 style build for the PTR, although I'm strongly considering getting another PTR without the welded-on rail and sending it in to black-ops defense and doing a more legit PSG-1 or MSG-90 conversion.

That astra it's 300 or 400?

I have an astra 300 7,65×17mm, has been in the family +80 years. My grandfather was a spanish falangist, was his war pistol. Great gun, first one i learned to shot, clean and disassemble. I have the original box and papers.

Germans loved the astra 400 9x23, but they didn't make that caliber in germany, so they asked for a 9x19. We payed their help in our civil war with those pistols, we are cheap bastards.

Yours it's from 1945 (letter P), probably thats why doesn't have the eagle of the Waffenamt stamps. Tested in "Banco de pruebas de Eibar" (the shield with crossed rifles inside and a crown or a helmet). From 1941 to 1944 we sent them cross France-Spain border. The ones from 45-46 ended in west-germany cops hands.
