Nice! I just got the mag carriers last night. I checked out that belt and it seems pretty nice. Although I'm considering the FirstSpear AGB as well.

I think I'm going to pick up a double pistol mag carrier. I like the singles because I can carry one or two at a time or even one with my edc. But I think the double would actually take up less space on my belt and I'm a thin guy so I'm thinking it'll make a little bit of a difference.

I've ot a double for my M&P and I wish I'd got 2 singles. The double takes up a little less space, but it's also a larger rigid surface, which limits some flexibility in my experience. I'd rather have the two singles and be able to position them more flush against me. It's a preference thing, though, really.

That AGB is a good belt. Had a very comparable SOE cobra rigger's belt, sturdy as all hell. Really wanted to get low visibility with that leather front HTC...preparing myself to loose some of that rigidity though.

I have a Jcomp v2, but no vice or 3/4" wrench to do it yet, someone told me to just not be a pussy and put the upper on the floor and do it, but PSA threadlocked the shit out of the A2.

Optic was a free Bushnell.

What's the best deal on mags currently?

I have hexmags but heard they're not nearly as good as USGI or PMAG gen 3

If by "all steal" you mean a metal frame, none of those have metal frames. The glock is the most economical of those and has the biggest aftermarket. The USP is a really fantastic handgun, but can be pretty expensive in comparison. For a little cheaper than a glock, you can get an m&p. I'm pretty partial to mine.

Yeah it was a PA light, no idea if it's the newest. It's a heavy light. Very bright, about on-par with the P2X fury with regards to spill, throw and overall brightness, despite being rated 200 lumens higher. Didn't shoot too much with it on so can't speak to its longevity, but it's still doing fine as a truck light.

I love my P2000, it's actually probably my favorite handgun now. That said, I talked to a local LEO armorer who's department just switched to Sig after being HK for years. Apparently HK was a nightmare for logistics and their LE support was almost nonexistent. They got better service and support from Sig so they made the switch.

Yea our local deputy/armorer wouldn't touch a HK because of their lack of support. They split the budget between glock and Sig, giving the guys the option of either a 17, 19, 226 or 220. From there, they would make a full decision on which company to completely go with.

But it's a small town, so it's not like there's a huge logistical problem having too different companies.
