I'd imagine you can get a nice 1911, not even believing the fuddlore of fuddy-five stopping power, but 1911s usually get a pass because its the gun that Grandpa used to carry and under the 10 round max limit.

I have a Glock 26 and do not like it. The grip is too short and the Glock 19 grip is basically the same.

Go bigger, especially if it's for home and not carrying.

i live in socal and the only pistol i have is a XD40sub compact. just go to a store and hold some shit at see what you like, then rent a gun at a range and see if you still like it

You can always buy and switch the 40 barrel to a 9 barrel and have both shooting options.

MUH CAPACITY kinda goes out the window when you only get 10 rounds regardless of caliber. If you only get ten shots or less, they might as well be bigass 230 grain shots.
