Hey /k/, could we have a compact weapons thread? I have a goruck GR1 (which leaves about 18" OAL to play with) and I'd like to see any ideas on some cool stuff you can put in there or any backpack. I'm obviously not an operator, I'm just autistic and have a thing for compact weapons. Pic related is from b&t, only 400 imported. Any compact rifle/subgun ideas would be appreciated!

Some I can think of right off the bat are the Kriss vector, mp5 or mp5k clones, scorpion evo and other sub guns. Forgot to mention I can fit my SADF chest rig and my mk18 mod 0 clone in there but I'd really like something I don't have to put together.
>>
Not many people have them considering they're rather silly in semi auto but if the HA got repealed I'd want to get my hands on one of these babies.

Why do you have a $300.00 bookbag?

Not poking fun, really want to know what makes that GR1 so special.

Here are 2. Also have a vector, m92 pap, 10in bren 805, scorpion EVO,
>>
>>33141962
They are pretty meh to me, but neverless they are a good budget entry into PCC.

>>33139822
What's your budget OP? There's a flood of great MP5 clones currently, but they are over 1k. You can also go Evo or more B&T TP9
>>
>>33142166
Kriss, if you are magic you might be able to find an MP5 in 10, but that's like Chupaunicorn rare.
>>
Any PDWs in 10mm? That might make it worth buying a semi-auto one.
>>
>>33142166
Vector, aero survival rifle, glock conversions.
>>
Yo im gonna do some shooting up i need some weapons you know where to get them cheep? Lol jk
>>
>>33141921
Buy it once, never buy it again. I bought in to all of the feature memes, and also the lifetime replacement thing. Plus it's really a e s t h e t i c.
>>
I'm surprised I'm the first to mention this. I don't believe any B&T firearm cost such a paltry sum of $400. Gibe link OP, link me, me a link needing a lot now.

I plan on sbring an evo soon

>$699 pistol
>$150 stock
>$200 stamp

seems like an insanely good deal for a well made 9mm sub gun that's a lot cheaper than an mpx or zenith

18 OAL is pretty small. This is my 9mm SBR with a 5.5" barrel and the UCIW stock, which is 1.5" shorter than a standard Carbine stock.

OAL is 19"
>>
Would PDW's replace Carbines and Shotguns in the HD market if automatic weapons and length requirements weren't regulated?
>>
>>33144015
Probably. A hose of accurate 9mm coming from a super low recoil compact platform with a can and a light would be pretty much unbeatable.

MP5 with F style stock is 22" (Closer to 21.75" actually)
MP5 with older style sliding stock is shorter at 19" iirc.
Krink is 19.3" folded.

MP5k is a good choice
>>
Are Zeniths the go-to for current production MP5 clones without going straight to HK?
I've been thinking about grabbing one of their A3 clones and sticking a collapsing stock on it.
>>
>>33144015
Can't speak for the overall market but I would be on that like stink on shit.
>>
>>33141921
Not that guy but I've been through enough bags to appreciate a well made one. The GR1 is still wildly inflated as are any bags in that price range. Some of them a very well thought out and very well built there is a lot of brand premium to be paid

Can't wait to shoot it soon
>>
>>33145441
i love my cz scorpion and so does everyone that shoots it. i think i have 1300+ rounds through it without cleaning and its worked non stop.
go ahead and get some aftermarket parts for it, a new charging handle, mag release, and right side safety is worth the extra money. i also have a trigger and new springs in mine
>>
>>33142123
Did they make a civilian ump at on point or how did you acquire it or make it. I love the UMP and would do jusy about anything to get one
>>
>>33145501
you could have a usc converted. its not going to be cheap but itll be cool
>>
>>33145441
ugly gun but absolutely the best value for the sub gun sbr market
>>33145470

Holy shit muh dik. You'd be unstoppable
>>
>>33145619
hbi CH and trigger springs, gearhead works right side saftey and paddle mag release, shooters element trigger, yetiwurks switchback grip.
i would have ordered the parts from hbi but they were OOS of a lot of stuff so i had to piece it from different places.
a new Ch and safety (if it digs into your hand) alone makes a world of difference. the other parts are just extra gravy on top.

I had assumed.

Just picked up an Omega and was wondering how other's people's MP5s were performing.

No issue so far, never fully realized how dirty roller delayed blowback was before I shot a couple mags
>>
>>33146002

yeah they're basically as dirty as straight blowback
>>
>>33146069
Yeah. Thankfully they don't give a fuck about how dirty they are.

Would I be dumb to get a evo 3 and a sbt side folder brace?

Will be 7 months in march, the first one took 4.

Is the ATF just really slowing down?

>>
>>33141962
I've got one in 40 and I love it. I have a shit load of 40 stashed but once I burn through it I'm going to sell the Sub2k in 40 and get one in 9mm.
>>
>>33139822
only right answer.
>>
>>33142184
Kriss Vector has a 10mm variant, and extendomags are coming.
>>
>>33144046
.45 might actually have an edge in that situation since it's a subsonic round, range isn't an issue past ~50yd, and you don't always have time to put your earpro on when a burglar is attacking.
>>
>>33148416
MP5
>>
I know my SBR is better, but why does my penis get so hard when I see sub guns?
>>
>>33148416
i went with the evo bc im bored to tears with ARs. no, the mpx isnt an ar but its controls close enough for me to discount it.
also, the evo is very popular, youd be surprised at the aftermarket it already has
>>
>>33147793
Filed mine back in June for a lower, got it approved earlier this month.

Waiting on another one that I applied early July, so based off my guesstimate, it should be approved by the end of March

41P probably has to do something with it.
>>
>>33147748

I might get one to complement my actual Spectre
>>
>>33146828
I really wish that Spectre folding stocks weren't so goddamn hard to get a hold of, since one of those Spectre HC pistols with a folding stock and foregrip would make for an extremely sexy SBR.
>>
>>33147793
>first one took four months.
Mine took fucking 18
>>
>>33151152
For a form 1?

Did you use the e-file system or mail it in?

>>33150707

Well that gives me hope that it should be coming through soon. I am above all of the average wait times by almost a month, which had me worried
>>
>>33143906
Mount is made by Midwest industries, it swivels out of the way so it can still fold and unfold without issue.
>>
>>33143331
>barrel that short
>bothering to SBR it
I don't get it, it's basically a pistol.
