For a backup or deep CC piece.
I wish there were some nicer .32 ACP handguns on the market these days for deep concealment.

I also think it would be a significantly more common cartridge for CC handguns if burst fire were legalized.

We would see 3 shot burst pistols in .32 ACP as a normal thing.

Being just a hair under 6" hard at 5'7" and CCing a full size double stack 9mm.
I've also recently been told I have little girl hands (just over 6" long) by an anon here so my confidence is low.
Do not bully me.

>>
>>33127481
Yup.

You gotta love all the mall ninjas on /k/ who insist that nothing short of 9mm (and just barely at that) is adequate. What scenario are they imagining in which this is true? Are they expecting Robocop to try to break into their house and steal their TV set? Dindu street punks generally don't walk around wearing body armor.

Frankly, in most cases, even the dreaded .22lr would be fine. Don't think so? Those bullets are about the diameter of a 1/4 inch roofing rail. Try pounding a nail like that into your chest with a hammer and tell me how long it takes until you don't feel like doing anything but getting medical attention. And that's entering your body with a lot less force than a bullet does.

So yeah, .32 is fine. At worst, you'd have to shoot somebody with it twice, but we don't live in 1756, so it doesn't take 30 seconds of reloading to get your pistol ready to fire again. Don't listen to the Internet Special Forces; get what's best for you.
>>
So why .32 over .380?
Most contemporary pocket pistols are chambered in both with no overall size or capacity differences.
>>
>>33132046
good .32 ammo is cheaper
>>
>>33127485

>>
>>33132046
Something that almost never comes up: most older .380's were based on desings that were in .32 acp, and many of those designs are more reliable in .32 acp- the PP/PPK being a prime example.

This or a p230?
>>
>>33133620
If you want a really compact carry piece in .32ACP, the Sig would be better suited for pocket carry and other such things.

And if you do carry, I genuinely insist on using something that gives you the best penetration possible for .32ACP, such as >>33129204, the shape makes sure the bullet uses as much of it's energy as it can to dig as deep as it can, and the solid copper material makes sure it can cut and dig deep without deforming. This is better than hollowpoints as .32ACP generally doesn't have enough mass or energy to make the expansion worthwhile, actually taking away from your penetration.

If you want a fairly compact carry piece in a small caliber but high capacity, the Beretta is pretty good, however, the .32ACP model 81 is pretty much the same size as the .380ACP model 84, on top of holding one more round, so for the weight and package, it'd make more sense to go for the .380ACP one as it's a much better performer while still being very easy to shoot (Lehigh and Underwood make some very nice copper bullets for this caliber too).

If you want a really nice .32ACP pistol for target shooting and plinking, the Beretta is a very nice choice, especially if the Hearing Protection Act goes through this year, then just get the barrel threaded and get yourself a nice 7.65mm aluminum suppressor, it would be a very gentle and pleasant weapon to shoot with a silencer (being hearing safe), good for teaching kids and teens and stuff if need be.
>>
>>33134062

I'm just gonna pick up a p230, I'm super skinny and need a carry piece

Thanks senpai
>>
Are seecamps any good. I see some prople say theyre the rolex of mouse guns and others say theyre overrated garbage.

If they are any good .32 or .380? Im sure theyre more or less equal coming out of something that small
>>
>>33129226
don't forget
>recreational drug (over)user
>>
>>33133532
Pretty rad.
>>
>>33127481
Yes, but with modern technology you can easily get .380 and 9mm in same package with only benefit of .32 being +1 round.

What .32 is best at in modern times are those mouse pistols that can actually achieve penetration with proper ammo.

Or alternatively something like barreta 81.
>>
>>33127768
what did he mean by this?
>>
>>33135031
Yeah, they're quite nice if you want a small caliber target gun but which has some more punch than a .22 and is centerfire.

>>33134981
He also consumed shitloads of fucking sugar and had huge dental bills.
Can't actually fault him on that part.

Really, all of Beretta's old small caliber pistols like the Cheetah line and their .22LR target pistols are kind of underrated today, they're so very nice.

>>
>>33132014
actually .22lr, .25acp and .32 are barely a step above a hammer in terms of energy. there's at least a handful of humans than can hit you harder with a hammer than those three rounds fired from a pistol.

Now, that hammer would FUCK YOU UP, more than the gunshots even. there's much less range though.

hammers are no fucking joke

>>
>>33135766

But what about sectional density? The hammer is far larger and the impact is spread out, on top of it being blunted.

The bullet goes inside (stabs) and does serious shit inside, even a modest round like .32ACP or .25ACP

>>33127782
In .32 ACP?
Yeah.
Low recoil means more chances of hitting the target and three rounds means three times the fuck you of a single .32.
>>
>>33127481
Any opinions on the TriStar compact pistol that holds 15+1 9mm rounds? (I think it's called the C-100. Can't be bothered to double-check, though.)

>>
>>33132014
Carrying a gun is already planning for the worst. There's nothing wrong with wanting something that will see you through multiple scenarios.

You might have to defend yourself from someone who will run at just the sight of a gun, or you might have to defend yourself from multiple determined attackers. If planning for either scenario makes you a mall ninja, then planning for just the first makes you a fudd.
