Are chlorine and ammonia molotov cocktails practical in enclosed spaces?

Looking from a home or looting defence perspective.

How big should the container be?

If the bottle is too small, gallon jars can be used.

They are practical when you have access to a respirator. I would recommend attaching a small glass bottle of bleach to the outside of the piss-jars you already stockpile to create an effective bleach-ammonia reaction.

Maybe you could get a significant volume of gas under high pressure. Look up the episode of Cody's Lab where he seals CO2 in glass tubes at like 1200 psi. Probably even more dangerous to the user than a regular Molotov.
