If I buy a house and some land and dig an underground bunker..
Is it feasible to dig out to like 100 yards and set up an underground range?
I'd soundproof every wall and have as much ventilation as possible but I'm worried about potential hazards like either tinnitus or lead poisoning.
Good idea? Bad idea?
I did. But I did it in the woods on the side of a hill. It's not 100 yards though, maybe 100 feet.

>Good idea? Bad idea?
expensive idea if you do it right
if you want to be legit then have to follow all the building codes...
otherwise sooner or later somebody will find out or some engineering failure will happen or etc
>Is it feasible
No.

You'd need good filtration

Underground range has been done by mutiple people in the past.
Most common is to use concrete tube or ditching with cover. Make sure you can access the end for cleanup. Pulley system for targets as well.
Will need good ventilation pushing air ot the end and very good sound proofing. Rifles make a hell of a concussion when fred in a small tunnel, can also fuck up precision. Also have to be aware of unburent powder in the range and cleanas needed.

I was planning on doing this in Pennsylvania, not quite the woods, but fairly secluded.
Wasn't really sure how to go about digging 300 feet straight in a line without hitting something. I suppose I could settle for a 25 yard pistol range.
The underground range would serve as a bunker too, with a shelter on the other side, so I'd make it sturdy with rebar and concrete and all that instead of just digging a hole in the ground.
Can you post pictures of inside the space and the range?
