Is a Colt 1991 bought it off a guy for 650.00. He intended to use it as a race gun never got around to it. Chambered in 9mm.
>>33118646
Me too!
Pre-War Walther p38, was a gift from my father. My first handgun.
>>33118713
That is actually a new aquisition haven't had the chance to shoot it yet. What do you think?
>>33118556
This was a pawn shop beater mix master gun I bought. Started chatting up the owner and he ended up giving me a USGI National Match kit. I had a local gunsmith who did a lot of IPPC work finish it off. Sweetest shooting 1911 I own.
>>33118738
Beretta PX4 sub compact, this is my desk gun, and occasional glove box gun if need be. Im a fan. Ruger MK because womens gotta shoot something.
>>33118738
If you mean the 1917, get to it. They are a hoot to shoot.
>>33118751
Nothing better than a nicely broken in handgun you are highly accustomed to.
East german 1990's import Luger, numbers matching not a bad gun.
WW1 C96. It was a gift from a friend.
Chambered in .454 Casull, its savage. Rounds cost at the cheapest $1.00 each.
>>33118804
I don't take them out so much anymore, but this is a fun range pair.
>>33118824
Jealous
>>33118556
A bought a VP9 this week, and I love the trigger. I need more HK, should I get an EXPERT 9mm or TACTICAL 9mm USP?
>>33118703
>>33118824
Very nice. I love me some naazi gerns.
Late war, non-serialized, luger, for nazi purposes.
>>33118827
I like your style!
Colt m1911 Circa 1921, for ya know, Killin Nazi's!
I scored this because of a gun related wallpaper pic. Customer saw it and asked me if I knew anything about guns. Sure. He said he had a gun from his dad. Brought it back from the war. Dad's gone. No one has touched it in 70 years. Could I check it and see if it was safe? Sure. Go to his house after work. Gun in holster. Full mag. One in chamber. Safety off. Clear pistol. Tell him to keep the gun and ammo separate and there are no worries. Asks me if I want it. Give him the three hundred I had in my pocket. Hnnng. Nazi marked CZ 27.
Can't forget the chatsky, probably my favorite hand gun for shooting the fuck out of everything. No /k handgun thread is complete without her. CZ 75BD
>>33118896
I guess we may as well stick with the vintage euro bangers, 1870 Gasser, Largest of any handgun ever issued by an armed force. Chambered in mother fucking 11.3×36mmR. Pretty sure this guy ended the Ottoman empire.
My favorite revolver. Colt New Service in .45 Colt.
>>33118936
derp, forgot pic
My c96. The markings on the front grip show it was a police gun in the Weimar era.
>>33118824
That is a hell of a gift.
>>33118827
>>33118880
I want a pre-A1 someday.
>>33118954 I cant rave enough about the 1870 Gasser, its heaving mass, and crude fit and finish make you feel like a comic book hero.
Randon small handguns for fucks sake.
birthday gift from waifu - $408 from Buds.
EAA Witness 9mm/.22 conversion
My favorite of all for SHTF. Never had a tack driver until this, both sides. The .22 is as good as a MkIII. The 9mm is utterly reliable.
Only wish was that she went for wonderfinish, EAA fails on the black.
>>33118954
Almost had a Lafaucheaux (sp?) that looked just like that. Seller change mind at the last.
>>33118896
Damn, that was a steal.
.357 Dan Wesson, omfg would it hurt to get hit in the head with this.
I never watched much animuu, but as a wee little shit, Coboy Bebop stuck with me enough to buy this chunk of steel many years later.
>>33118968
Love those lemon squeezers. Queue the Led Zepplin.
High-Standard Double Nine "Natchez"
.22 LR x 9
Belonged to my uncle, then to my father when he passed. Will probably be mine next, but I'm in no hurry to get it. This is probably the first gun I ever shot. My father made the grips.
This is the best circle jerk I've seen on 4chan in some time. Hope I don't have to eat the cracker.
>>33118863
If it has a threaded barrel just go for .45 ACP.
And I got a lot of fuckin rifles, I leave this one as a teaser.
Bought this two days ago. 1969 BHP. Havent shot it yet because work
>>33119034
I'm in.
>>33119041
I got to get one of those.
>>33119021
no guns :( so sorry :(
Have an 1873 Winchester Model 1 to cheer you up, it did win the west and all, may have killed an injun or two even.
I like to fuck with the ATF
work in progress.
Merwin model 3. $150 from a thrift store outside of Phoenix

>>33119109
Do you believe the term Colt .45 when spoken colloquiallly refers to a colt like yours or mine?>>33118880
CZ 83 in.380 ACP, manufactured 1991 I believe.
>>33118556
My most recent purchase from about 3 weeks ago. Stamped 1945 with the Tula mark, it's in crazy good shape and it shoots like a dream.
In a few more weeks when I've scrapped up some money and I get an SKS, I'm thinking of getting an ushanka hat and a telnyashka top and having a slav's day out.
>>33119148
Neither
>>33119166
Oh man that's on my wishlist. Hope they don't spike in price before I get around to it, I'm otherwise not too into revolvers.
>>33119166
How much? I got one before the prices shot up, but I want more.
>>33119148
Interesting. I think "Colt .45" was more common to the 1911. "Colt" for the SAA because it was chambered in many more calibers. .44-40 was probably more common in the old west because there were rifles chambered for that too.
>>33118826
You're getting ripped off in ammo then. .454 isn't that expensive.
>>33119206
It was a Major League Baseball team too.
>>33119230
>>33119217
$140 for the gun and holster, $250 for the 1072 round ammo can. The prices started going up, what, two years ago? So I imagine you've both a bit of time yet to find a good one before people start paying too much for them.
glock 40 mos in 10mm
it's a glock, so not much to tell
>>33119317
Where?
>>33118556
Here's one a little rare. An HK-4 marked H&R. Harrington Richardson was the importer for only the first year they were made.
>>33118826
That shit looks like it would be painful to shoot, how big are your hands?
>>33119339
I got lucky and found it at my LGS in Houston. I know gunbroker has a few listed between the 150 and 350 range, but if you live in a city like I do I would check all the local gun shops.
I typically look at the websites of 3 or 4 of the shops near me every couple days to see if anything interested comes up, and I just happened to come upon this one.
1919-1923ish? Commercial dwm luger in 7.65. not as cool as a war time model. Buttt still pretty fucking nice, really needs new grips though
>>33118863
Tactical in .45
Expert in .45 and 9mm w/jet funnel (18rnd mags)
>>33119361
Nice! I have one sans import marks. You have any of the other barrels for it?
>>33119530
All of them.
>>33119570
Noice. I have the .32 and .22 was a bitch to fix when the buffer plate exploded, but it's a great little gun.
I have no pictures at the moment but my latest handgat acquisitions in the last three months are a Shield 45, FNS-40c, and a Nano.
>>33118896
Amazing
>>33118556
This is the pride and joy of my meager collection. I have purchased her at an incredible price of $535 coming with 7 mags. Kind of nice to have connections at Cabelas, thanks to a certain friend.
>>33122685
Plan to see if I can qualify with it on my next job. It'd be pretty awesome if they'd let me. However I definitely need to get the mag disconnect removed from it.
>>33119007
>want an original Jericho
>can't find any KBI imported ones
I want to be a space cowboy but the whole "desert eagle pistol" instead of "jericho 941" on the frame activates my autism.
Is there much mechanical difference between the old Jerichos and the new ones from MR?
>>33123007
Huge difference. New ones don't have polygonal rifling(I think not sure)
Also I can't stand the rail on new jerichos, completely kills the aesthetics.
Also, fuck the polymer abominations
>>33123007
Also, there is one unissued Jericho in .40sw on mach 1 arsenal for $425. That's a good deal for an unissued one as they're all but sold out everywhere
>>33122685
>>33122726
sweet hi power bro.
i finally took this blaster out to shoot today.
>rear sight was loose in the dovetail even after tightening the set screw
>got it back to put a different kinds of ammo through
>was two inches high at 10 yards free-hand
>six inches high benched at 25
still a kapmfy shooter though.
>>33123041
The new ones that was marked as Baby Desert Eagle has the polygonal rifling. At least the one I had.
>>33123087
>P-09
Kind of want one, how much was it?
>>33123120
>p-09
it's a p-07. it was going for $520 at my lgs.
>>33123090
Huh thanks. I still can't get over the rail however. Do you know if one can buy new barrels for jerichos anywhere?
Here's my mutt of a 1911. Built from all the parts I could find in the massive room of parts at work. All colt 'new old stock' and fitted to work together. Best of all series all on one frame.
>>33123041
Yeah, I have one of the new MR models but even though it shoots well, all the aesthetics are way off. I might just go for one of the older MR imports of the 941Rs and suck it up on the different import marks.
I can't get the right grips anyway so I wouldn't be able to get the looks down 100%.
>>33123084
>.40
Memes aside, I saw that one but I don't want to have to start buying a new ammo type just for 1 gun that I could probably find in 9.
>>33123090
Does polygonal rifling make a big difference in pistols? My only understanding of it is that you can't shoot unjacketed lead out of them.
>>33123202
Regarding polygonal: the only reason why you think that you can't shoot lead jackets out if it is because one manufacturer didn't recommend shooting unjacketed lead because of the nature of polygonal. Polygonal rifling engages bullet slightly tighter than traditional grooves resulting in an it higher pressure and a bit better accuracy. Result of that is that lead gets deposited a bit more in polygonal than traditional rifling.
Tldr it's perfectly safe to shoot unjacked lead you just might have to remove lead more often
>>33123182
That's pretty neat
>Ctrl+f
>No Maks
Thankfully I'm here to fix the thread.
Made sure to get the Spurdo Special.
>>33123285

>>33123155
>$520
Seems a bit high, or is that just me?

I don't know, haven't really looked at them since 2011.

>>33123463
it is if its the regular p07/p09. this is the urban grey one with the threaded barrel and suppressor-height sights.
>>33123538
ah, makes sense.
>>33123182
Where do you work and where did you get the same? I built this one from gun show GI parts bins but I had to order the frame from AO.
>>33124351
Before some one says "wrong trigger" that was on purpose. Fits me better.
>>33124351
>same
Frame
>>33118556
Another story. Fixed a computer for an elderly relative. Never knew he had a gun. Asked me if I wanted pic related or cash. Said the ammo that was missing was all that was ever shot in it since he got it in 1971.
>>33118826
>>33119241
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSqUlQ7NukU
Apparently .454 Casull was about $2 a shot in 1991.
>>33124351
Wrong grip safety.
That's for a 1911. Not a 1911a1.
>>33124425
That's unrelated.
>>33119333
Long glocks are gorgeous. Would love to see one with a silencer.
>>33124394
Ok bean meaning to do this so I dug out the parts box and fixed it for you.
Just picked this up yesterday. Never used an optic on a handgun before so this will be interesting.
AMT Hardballer
Picked it up in a pawn shop for 300.
Shoots great!
Im getting ready to put the factory grips back on it.
This one with the vz grips is the only one i have on my phone for some reason.
It was my first 1911 bought just because i wanted a Hardballer and a Longslide when i was a kid.
Now im hooked.
Now to get the long slide and a BHP.
Childhood bucket list ahoy!
>>33124829
Get another one and make a pair of Silverballers
>>33124516
Glad spell checker worked for you there. Could have been embarrassing. Or not.
>>33119448
Where in Houston, as in which gun store? Because Collectors seems like a bunch of jews
>>33124829
How's its function? I had heard they were less than ideal in terms of reliability and all that.
