Just picked up my new gun. Question for scar owners about charging handle. Seems like when you put it back in, it just kinda falls into place. Doesn't click or anything. It feels wobbly now that it's re-installed. Did I do it wrong?
>made in Belgium
>not sold in Europe
>there are companies importing them from US
>price tag around 4000 euros
Always makes me laugh.
/k/ confirmed not owning guns
Why would it click? The only thing holding it in place are those edges of the receiver.

So its supposed to be a little wobbly?

>how many levels of globalization are you on
>like maybe 5 or 6 my man
>you're a little baby, watch this
>"We import SCAR 17Ses in sporting configurations from Belgium for US sales despite having a huge factory producing SCAR-Hes right here, and after converting them back to proper shape we ship some of them right back to Europe for civilian sales there"

>I don't know the answer
>I'm jealous I don't have that gun or that much money
"I'm better than both of you because I don't have what you do"

It's just held in by the receiver, it doesn't need a detent. iirc an fn rep told me it was because it was vastly simpler and cheaper to just make the receiver hold in a minor part and keep it able to switch between left and right without having to put extra springs and hardware in the bolt carrier

Awesome thanks for the answers guys

>iirc an fn rep told me it was because it was vastly simpler and cheaper to just make the receiver hold in a minor part and keep it able to switch between left and right without having to put extra springs and hardware in the bolt carrier
>admitting to taking cost cutting measures on your rifle you sell for 3200 dollars
Really makes you think.

It's also vastly simpler and cheaper to leave the receiver plain instead of sending to to Tibet to be covered in fancy floral scrollwork and gold inlay by blind monks, are you going to think about that, too?

What kind of stupid response is this?

DoD contracts prevent FN from producing SCARs here for non .mil customers.
