Will it mean you're not gucci? Oh yes. Is it a good light in my opinion? Oh yes. It is quite a substantial bit of machining, functionally it has a long and decent width throw to it. With all 3 cells its very bright and I do like the adaptability of removing the hex section making the light shorter. Compare mine to the photo you posted and you can see it. It also reduces its weight a bit because it is a heavy light.

I would like to make an m16a4 clone. How much of a clone do you want? As in are you only concerned about appearance or an exact clone? If you just want the function you would be better served with the CHF upper. Then just get a PSA classic rifle lower and a logo-less mil spec BCG. Check gunbroker, amazon and just google search. I found a guy one time that had a bunch on Etsy, theres also the EE at ar15.com.

Oh, I see what you're saying. It seems to me pretty unlikely. The front sight adjustment is very low profile and flush with the housing almost, I think anything that strikes it would likely glance across the surface. I use a KAC micro rear, but I think this concern is probably unwarranted.

Chances are if it didn't form a carbon seal around the gas port, the fsb is probably too big for the barrel.

If it cycles just keep shooting it, just keep an eye on the ejection pattern.

Hey guys, i installed a SSA-E trigger in my ar15 and have shot about 600 rounds through it by now with the new trigger. But on occasion i would get a trigger that will not return/reset. It happens intermittently and i am wondering if it is because i over lubricated the FCG combined with shooting dirty wolf ammo that it gets gunked up down there. When the trigger doesnt return i can just have my finger push the trigger forward and it is good to go. Any ideas on what the actual prob may be? Incorrect installation??
