I'd like a Makarov but the ammo is weird.

Hard Mode: No Hi-Point.

A new production Zastava tokerev (can't remember the model number).
They come in 9mm Luger and are slim as fuck.

For me, it's the Glock 19.

>what's weird about it

It wears some old military camo jacket to school
Smells like mold and mildew
Always sits in the back of class and never talks to anyone
Wont look you in the eye.
Walks down the hall staring at the floor
Always looking down or just staring off into space
Walks home alone muttering to himself, occasionally giggling maniacally about something known only to him and his wierdo pretend army fantasy

Or go with the SR9E 100 dollars cheaper for same thing minus a few cosmetics

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

The fact that you would suggest that is evidence you don't own one. Don't make the mistake. It feels like it's made out of remote control plastic, they're known to break within the first hundred shots, and customer service is sketchy. I swear it's a guy's cell phone number. He has a Floridian accent and hangs up on you if he's busy. Sounded like he was at a restaurant.

I honestly think it's a company run out of some Florida man's garage

Might as well get an FNS if you're in that price range. Ruger's quality is iffy, I like the 9e though for its price.
>>
>>33108687
>Ruger's quality is iffy
Since when?
>>
>>33108724
Seriously? It's an American brand compared to a Belgian brand. Amerishit always sucks.

Ruger may be better than s&w in this regard, but their products are still prone to small parts breakage. The sights break of off 10/22s all the time, small internal parts like mag releases break off their handguns, etc.

american brands suck because they don't have to worry about competition. this is why the NRA is so cancerous, they only give a shit about protecting domestic companies, so said companies are able to cut corners. if we had full access to russian imports you bet your ass places like remmington and ruger would be working their ass off to compete with the flood of slavshit

Beretta 92s ~$300

>>33109012
slide is taller than necessary, wouldnt really call it chunky IMHO. out of half a dozen or so similar sized handguns i handled at the LGS it had a better trigger, better ergos, and was thinner than most competitors. that being said i haven't ever handled a PPK so cant really say as to that one. Bout the smallest id want a 9mm desu.
>>
>>33109381
True. And the ppk is only in .380 not 9mm afaik

ruger lc9s

/thread :)
>>
>>33109496
This, minus the retarded self /threading and the faggy smiley.

You can pickup LC9s's for $300 online if you fine a sale, and I just picked up some extra mags last night for $20 each. Just shot it again today, it's a good shooter too. Nice trigger.
>>
>>33108610
What the hell are talking about????

I own a sccy cpx 2 and it doesn't feel cheap at all. I've shot hundreds of rounds through it and it hasn't "broken" whatever the hell that would even be. It did have some extractor issues and I was able to go through customer service no problem. They ended up sending a whole new slide, barrel and spring to solve issue.

It may not be perfect but your description is either BS or it was a bad experience.
>A nationally sold brand being run out of a "garage". They must be selling if they're still in business and just made a new .380 acp version.

Just got an LCP 2 today since I'm already invested in .380. Also picked up some mags for about $20 each.

It's a great little gun that still packs a punch for it's size. Sold my old Bersa since it was just too big for a .380
>>
>>33107219
I looked for 6 months the for a Rami.
Didn't find a single one in 9mm.

Getting a Sphinx instead because apparently a $1,000 gun is easier to find than a $600 one.

What about the car market? American cars have to compete with some of the most reliable brands in the world yet they still suck.

Too bad. It's hard to find something tiny that conceals better than a Hi-Point.

With modern manufacturing we are on the verge of a major breakthrough in the gunsmithing industry. The return of small independent manufacturing could bring the local gunsmithing trade back from the dead.

>Ammo isn't hard to find at all anymore.

Yeah, but the logic is that 9x19 is everywhere, and everything else is hard to find.
>>
>>33111461
It's not a viable carry gun. Compared to literally every other gun designed specifically for carry it's bigger, heavier, fires a less powerful cartridge, has similar or less capacity, and costs around the same.

Carrying a mak is a meme.
