can anyone confirm or deny whether the p83 wanad has a trigger actuated hammer block like a makarov?
>>33104978
I think its just a hammer disconnect like the P-64
>>33106302
so i shouldn't carry it with one in the chamber?
>>33106341
no, i do it on my p-64 which has no hammer drop safety and its not a problem
>>33106375
I'm sure it would be fine unless up dropped it straight on the hammer or forcibly hit it. but i'm kinda paranoid.
how does makarov hammer block work
if anyone has one you should be able to tell me by pushing on the hammer, then pushing on the hammer with the trigger pulled in slightly and telling if there is a difference.
>>33106412
the first bit of trigger pull drops the block. without it the hammer cannot drop fully forward
>>33106433
wow! i never noticed
guess that's why the hammer won't go flush with the block if you try to push it
>>33106444
yup. i actually just learned this also. i was hoping it transferred onto the polish gun.
>>33106480
why
>>33106530
because its a good safety? means you can basically beat on the damn hammer and it wont go off unless the trigger is pulled. i would probably carry it with the thumb safety off if it had one.
>>33106560
so you have the p83? not the makarov?
>>33106584
I have neither. I am about to purchase a p83 which doesn't have near the info on it unlike the makarov.
California actually delcared the makarov drop safe though. And knowing them that's something.
>>33106606
why not just buy mak
>>33106609
I'm on a tighter budget and the makarovs are getting pricer.
>>33106634
where do you live?
>>33106639
Texas, dallas ft worth area.
>>33106661
whoops. too far.
>>33106702
Oh well.
