Thinking about customizing a 1022
>Heavy Barrel Take Down model
>Magpul X22 stock
>Red Dot
>a few BX25 mags
All together, I dont see myself spending more than $800. I already have a spare Primary Arms red dot I will use.
Anyone on /k/ have a custom 1022?

why not just buy a marlin 60 for a quarter of the price and get the same result right out the box?
>>33097604
bc Marlins are literally for poor people

First off, the takedown is a totally different receiver.
Second, going with a takedown defeats the purpose of any accurization. The wobble will always be there, even adjusting the collar every single time.
Pro Tip: EVERY 10/22 IS A TAKEDOWN
two screws and you can remove the barrel
throw a field gauge in the barrel, insert with the bolt forward, screw down
t. huge 22 fag with half a dozen 10/22s
22 fag ama

totally different receiver then what?
what the fuck are you even comparing this to?
>>33098051
And don't forget if you are in Canada you must turn in all magazines for this rifle that has a capacity greater than ten.
Fail to do so and the consequences will be severe.

10/22 takedown receiver is totally different from the normal 10/22 receiver
You cannot turn a 10/22 into a 10/22 TD.

lol fuck Canada and fuck the RCMP
>>33098160
Well i would get the 1022 target if the barrel was threaded and if they still make it in all black
>>33097566
would recommend the magpul stock. I love it.
>>33098193
don't get a blued barrel unless you're going to get it cerakoted, bluing stucks

>Pro Tip: EVERY 10/22 IS A TAKEDOWN
Thats why you get your barrel threaded into your receiver.

FUCK YOU TOO FUCKING AMERICAN GIVE US YOUR FREEDOM REEEEEEEE

basically, just buy all Kidd aftermarket parts
>>33098300
try less
>>33097604
this. im all of $200 into a marlin 60 and its sub-moa with match ammo.
>>33097566
Here's mine
>>33098401
damn, thats awesome. Is that a stock barrel? Also, what sight is that?
>>33098401
That's actually pretty badass.
The only thing I hate about my 10/22 is the mag release. The old one had a flush mag release while the new ones have that little metal/plastic part that sticks out. I lost a mag when it got bumped and dropped out and I have even walked back from a hike "holy shit I just found a 10/22 mag on the ground!!" Then looked to see it was mine that fell out.
>>33098154
dont think so officer.
>>33098551
gonna hazard a guess and say browning buckmark
>>33099811
>has to have a little faggy card to have 22 mags
>>33099849
oh a tax stamp? whats that?
>>33097604
>>33098388
But...but...but...part of the FUN of owning a 10/22 is buying a $200 rifle, throwing 90% of it away and then spending $6-800 on aftermarket parts so it can shoot as good as another company's $200 rifle!
And if you get backed into a corner, whip out the "muh rotary mags!" argument.

Tacsol barrel, burris fastfire 3, hogue overmold, bx trigger
>>33099849

>customizing
That's an odd way to spell "bubba'ing".
>>33099895
but the 10/22 is good stock. the only thing I did to mine was put irons on it
>>33100404
theres nothing wrong with the 10/22 but the only way it beats the marlin 60 is ease of reloading and its huge aftermarket.
