So I start my new job soon... It's one thing for a company to not want guns on the premises, but after spending the day with them it's pretty obvious they hate guns and are giant faggots.

Who here works for giant gun hating faggots??
>>
Who the fuck cares what their politics are

You can coexist perfectly well with your neighbors unless they're actively trying to kill you.
>>
>>33097341
This. As long as they don't violate the NAP it's all good famalam
>>
What is the job? And what makes you say they hate guns?

I've always thought they can have policy against it, but it still isn't against the law. So if you get caught youll likely just be fired, and escorted off property. Just dont get caught printing and you'll be completely fine.

They probably made mentions of the place being a gun free zone just like they mention that they are an EO employer.. blah blah blah insurance blah blah blah.
>>
>>33097312
Companies generally tell their employees to not have guns on the premises for a couple reasons.

One is liability. They don't want to get sued incase one of their employees does something stupid with said gun and endangers people's lives. You may be a responsible gun owner, but I'm sure we've all known or seen someone Nd other do something else insanely stupid with a gun. Companies don't want to risk the lawsuit involved with that.

Another reason is, what if the employee decides to use said gun in a work place shooting. It has happened before. And I know that having responsible people armed will decrease that chance. Companies don't want to risk that. This also ties into reason one. any families of the victims could sue.

What company are you working for?

>Inb4 a shit retail job
>>
>>33097312
Most companies don't allow guns on their premises
>>
>>33097312
I had to pick up an emergency job at Starbucks because the company I was working for went under, and I didn't want to burn through my savings. I'd much rather be crawling naked through a field of glass. The job sucks, the customers can eat shit, and everyone here is beta to the max. They invited me on a camping trip and I got excited, turns out they plan on staying in a hotel and hiking a little in the day. They are all super anti gun as well. I'm the only one who lives on their own and I invited them over for some brews, one of the dudes walked in as I pulled my Glock 19 out of my waistband and set it on the counter, and he about shit himself. Two of the girls wanna learn to shoot though, and I said I'd teach them ;).
>>
>>33097542
cool blog post, got anymore? Is there a link to your blog where I can hear about your wacky exploits every single day of my fucking life?
>>
I work for Kroger, and they're surprisingly pro-gun.

They don't want us carrying, but customers can open carry to their hearts delight. I don't see it too often, but there is one guy who comes through every now and then with a 1911 on his hip.
>>
Op here. Nah I hear you guys... It's common for a no guns on premises rule. Worked for people like that plenty of times.

It's a driving job. None CDL. It's just their attitude is "if you see a passenger who's packing, they can't be on"...And just a lot of other things said that it's obvious they have a hard on for gun control. It's like if you guys were ubur drivers and you noticed a guy printing...

I'm in the military, so you could say I'm in the most anti-gun job in existence.

My supervisor once said he wishes they would try mass confiscation just so he could go door-to-door and shoot rebels.

He's a black fat sack of shit to boot. Poetry.
>>
>>33097312
My company lets customers carry whatever they want but not employees.
It's all about that liability.

If you're concerned about the philosophical outlook of your employer then justvpretend to see their point and let them think you're agreeing while you subtly get them to convince themselves they're wrong.

The scythe on a chain actually is a viable weapon. But you don't swing the scythe side around, you swing the weighted side and keep a firm grip on the scythe for stabbing.
>>
>>33097952
In an open field with supporting ranks of infantry the scythe on the end of a chain is great for breaking small formations prior to a charge.

In Japan in the 1400s.

If they have the legal signs and really want to fuck you over, its possible they can charge you with trespassing for coming onto the premises with a gun against their wishes, which since, you have a gun, will become a felony...
>>
>>33097312 (OP)
I work a normal white collar cubicle job and have therefore never discussed my gun ownership with anybody. I have a few co workers who I suspect don't like me, and I don't want them to make up a story about me threatening them or something. I just keep my personal life and hobbies separate from my job entirely. It's worked for 10 years.
>>
>>33098645
>charge you with trespassing for coming onto the premises with a gun against their wishes, which since, you have a gun, will become a felony...
>commie state
Here they have to physically tell you to leave, and if you refuse to, the can call the cops and loltrespass ticket. Simple Misd., no weapons confiscation, no inflated charges

Personally, I work in a cube farm, and it's very anti gun, employee handbook even mentions no guns/knives. I think the head security guard is pro-gun, but I'm not going to risk my job finding out though. I've revealed my power level to a few closer employees, and have even gone to the range with them. Hell, even converted a nogun.

>>
>>33099951
please tell me this isn't bait.
>>
>>33099756
This comes down to a state law issue. If the car say, parking in the employers parking facilities, I'm some states, they can legally make demands about weapons being in the car. Other states specifically extend a kind of extension of personal property space (and privacy) to an automobile even if parked on private property. Most nation employers even recognize this by some kind of statement like " weapons prohibited in personal vehicals if permitted by state law. " or some such.

Never the less, the point stands. What the fuck are they going to do? Search your car? Probably not. Unless their is an incident. I have heard of people being forced to have thier car searched by company security under threat of automatical termination and calling the police unless they comply. Fwiw 100 percent of these cases were related to drugs in the work place. Never once hear of this happening at a normie office job.
>>

It's called "basic workplace skills", a close cousin of "basic social skills".

If your employer doesn't want you to bring your gun to work, then don't. It's their private property and they can set any rules they like on it. So put your gun in a locked box in the locked trunk of your car when you get to work, then take it back out when you leave.

What you do when you're not on the clock - whether it's shooting, going to comic cons, or visiting a dominatrix - is none of your employer's (or coworkers') fucking business. Don't talk about it with anyone from your job unless you're sure they want to hear about it. It's not that you're hiding anything, it's just that your private life is private, and you're under no obligation to talk about it when you're on the job.

tl;dr: Keep your work life and your private life separate.

I love my job

I work for a company that actively shills for Hillary even now in their advertising.

I deal with it by not giving a fuck, dropping innocuous little redpills amongst my co-workers to agitate against the DNC and taking pleasure in the fact that our customers have no idea their money has funded the purchase of four scary salt rifles, three handguns, two shotguns, and plenty of ammo. I'm not going to say anything about who I am, but...

This is a scenario where, regardless of political affiliation, the officer above you should be hearing about what this guy has said.

Speak privately with your O2 or O3, if that's something that can happen in your shop. Mention that your supervisor has repeatedly talked about hoping for instability inside the United States because he wants to kill Americans.

This is not something coc will take lightly. The guy is likely to get booted or at the very least disciplined for this, and it would be warranted whether or not he said this about wanting to go back to the homeland and shoot far-left anarchist block bloc guys or Amon Bundy types.

It's the right thing to do, for your unit and for the country. Trust me. You won't get in shit for this. Good luck.

Self defense and right to life isn't something that goes away as soon as you show up for work and comes back as soon as you get off work. Commercial property has different standards anyway - Your company may set the policy and may lease/rent the property

Consent but make it clear you want a cop observing. If you are already at this point they are phishing to fire you anyway and a police report will help you in a wrongful termination suit

>>33101189
.gov/courts/fed shit/state gov will have adequate armed security. Anything private where you are getting searched on the reg - ie metal detectors, will have adequate armed security. If you work some bullshit cube farm job and deal with metal detectors everyday and aren't in NSA/CIA/FBI/Defense industry/DOD/.gov I would seriously consider finding other employment.

>>33101189
Commercial property is another ballgame in the first place, alot of companies don't actually own the property they sit on either and in a shit ton of states improper signage is inadequate or signage altogether can be freely ignored.

Non-Agression Pact.
Basic idea is that it's a social contract where everyone who subscribes to it won't be aggressive to anyone else who subscribes to it. Anyone who acts aggressive is no longer covered under the pact and therefore, a target for anyone to do anything to.

What counts as aggressive is vague at best.

Where the fuck do you work that you can't even count on walking between your car and the front door of your workplace without getting shot? What, do you have the midnight shift at a gas station in the ghetto?
