I won't be that guy and say it doesn't have it's benefits (IE mags, aftermarket etc.) and it's definitely a solid gun. But fuck me if I could get my stepdads 10/22 with the "match barrel", drop in "tuned trigger" and Leupold glass to shoot straighter than my factory Marlin 60 with Bushnell glass. The trigger is actually very nice, but I couldn't get a tighter group than my cheap little rabbit gun.

I don't really hate any gun, but the worst gun I've shot BY FAR is the Hatfield (AKA Walmart) single shot 12 gauge.
The trigger and hammer are heavy as fuck. Like 15 pounds heavy. And while the trigger being absolute ass sucks, nothing sucks more than the stock. It's shaped in such a way that you get punched in the face if you want to look down the barrel and shoot, even with cheapo birdshot. Very uncomfortable to shoot.
I do like its light weight however, and the fact you can fold it nearly in half. Very cheap as well, only $99.

Anyhow, AR 15s are more of the Ford Focus of cars. Cheap, reliable, and good handling. There's plenty of cheap parts for it and it's fairly common. But all together, it's not too impressive relative to more expensive models.

I actually have to agree, just bought a 10/22 and the quality control is awful, disassembling it is just a huge hassle thanks to the awful spacing on everything and it is obnoxiously rattle-y out of the box.
It's a cheap gun and performs decently but I'd really rather have spent a bit more on something that doesn't feel like its held together by pipe cleaners and glue sticks.

Honestly, I just hate MOBAs. I played League for a few weeks, going in optimistically, but the game just wasn't fun to me, and that soured my perception of all MOBAs. I almost skipped out on Overwatch for that reason. Luckily I got a chance to play a friend's copy and I really liked it.

I hate Glocks, but only really the 19 and 26. I say that because that's what I've shot, and holding a fullsize, somehow, didn't feel nearly as bad. I'd also even just put it down to Gen 3 and Gen 4, because the finger grooves are fucking stupid. I'd rather have a swappable front strap, at this point.

I think they have the worst ergonomics of any pistol I've shot. They feel way heavier than they are said to and should, and that's only amplified by feeling like you're holding a brick. They're blocky and thick, don't feel good to me to conceal, though I admit I'm a skinny skeleton man.

And I do admit it, as much a faggot it makes me, I am also really, really offput by how everyone pretends they're the end-all, be-all, cost-to-use solution for pistols, when there is clearly way, way, way better options for about the same price or just a little more. Even less. Especially out-of-the-box, brand new, compared to a new Glock where it isn't just a meme that you probably want different sights or something.

That said, I understand why they're important. I think some models of Glock might be OK, just haven't shot them. While they're generally ugly-ish, I think the long slide models can be really cool. I just really hate shooting or keeping them, personally. I'd rather have anything else. It's just, like, my opinion, man.

This exactly nails it for me. 2000%. I hate the people who play MOBAs, I hate how seriously they take everything, I hate how they treat shit. I'm not some faggot who cares about, or would ever use the words, "toxic community," but it just isn't fun. Stack it on that a strict, tiered meta, single character control, very specific, structured way everyone always figured out how to do everything every time sort of gameplay, and it's entirely unappealing.

It's like you get the worst parts of a fighting game community, alongside the most boring, tedious parts of an RTS. I see absolutely none of the appeal.

And it absolutely did stop me from trying Overwatch because of how many MOBA comparisons were being made. And while it does still have some aspects of one, it's really the basic, salvageable parts of one. I absolutely hope we keep to the speedy, fun FPS thing. I like realistic tactical shooters tons, but the current state of most of it is really fucking boring and antithetical to real innovation.

Yeah, I like the M&P and I still generally agree with this. The Shield was a great thing and kind of kicked off the single-stack 9mm game, which was good. However, there's so many shitty Glock clones, and these really, really didn't help with that. Some polymer pistols, like the PX4 or ostensibly the PPQ, have real innovative features or are at least above the cut. The M&P is part of the baseline, bare-bones clone lines, in some sense, and that does suck. I'm absolutely sick of striker-fired polymer pistols, that's for damn sure.

I blame the polymer shit for this. It went down around the Sigma line. They used to be amazing for automatics, I still love my 5906, it's one of my favorite pistols. I really wish they had continued some form of metal-framed automatics, but we're where we are. I guess that's another reason to resent the M&P.

I know people are gonna say "bait xDD" but hear me out. I only hate the gun because of the dumb decisions that were made because of it. It was a great gun up to the Korean war, but by that point we should've already adopted the hi-power.

1. Steel case ammunition (F1A, F2/F2A) is no longer issued, all current FAMAS F1s are issued brass case (F5) SS109 ammunition imported from Britain because the frogs can do fuck all with ammunition quality.
2. All barrels have been replaced with a 1:9" twist rate and can reliably shoot both M193 and 855/SS109 ammunition as standards.
3. It can mount optics just fine and the FAMAS carry handle can be removed or replaced with one that has a lower height, as well as it now yses pictanny rails instead of weaver rails.
4. The F1s magazines were designed with no mind to NATO STAGNAG compatibility because France had quite NATO at the time.
Tl:Dr Rifle is fine, blowback system is fine, FAMAS is fine. All of her problems are associated with France shit quality control at the time.
