If you just want to blast, the AK can be pretty damn fun for how chunky it feels, but on the other hand, the AR can be feel incredibly fun just for how easy it is to use, some people get a kick out of it's easy handling and good precision.

If you go for an AK, avoid IO and the RAS47, dumpsterfires. Get a Yugo/Serb AK.

more recoil and noise, a good CHA-CHUNK to the action, kicks up more dirt

I adore shooting my AKS-74, as it doesn't pelt my arm with brass and I can grin as spent cases rain down upon some poor bastard several lanes down.

theres something about the mechanical flaws of the ak and the feeling you get when you shoot it. i love shooting my 300 memeout as well but not as much since its missing the magical ak touch. i personally cannot stand how boring the ak74 is. No, im not even baiting. Its like an half way ak that got fucked on the sidewalk and is missing the kick that makes thegun so much more fun.
