keeps em up
Thinking of making a war belt but quick question - are the magazine pouches that hold 2 AR-15 magazines double stacked not as good or held solidly on the belt compared to single mag pouches?
>>33084618
well, problem is if you use one mag the other is in a pouch twice as big as it needs, could easily fall off out if you have to move around quickly

DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO STATIST
>>33084350
Nice setup op... what knife/holster is that?
>>33086113
no OP but it's an Esee Izula in the factory sheath
>>33086113

>knife and HOLSTER

I'm drunk.

What are you using to carry the shells?
>>33086257
What butt pouch is that?
For innawoods use

>gear queer, the thread
>>33084618
I advise keeping your belt to a single layer. The most I would do is the rifle+pistol Mag pouches. Double rifle mags suck to have on your waist, especially if they are forward and you try to go prone.
A battle belt should, in most cases, bear your absolute minimum fighting load should you need to drop your PC or whatever. That's a few mags (more than 3 rifle mags and 2 pistol mags is excessive), a basic IFAK/TQ, and a duty pistol.

How do you carry revolver reloads? Want to carry mine innawoods, but hate speedloaders or speedstrips
>>33087516
>hate speedloaders or speedstrips
Loose rounds then...?
>>33087516
Moon clips are a good option on some revolvers
Here you go.
>>33087516
I don't. I have a speedloader but I haven't figured out where to place it. Might put it in my dip pouch and stick my can on the outside

Came here to post this...but double fucking dubs nabbed it

>>33088954
You're not my real dad.
Just beefed up my IFAK.
>>33088910
Night Nine patches seem to be everywhere now, did I miss something?
only pic i have of it. i like the idea of a battle belt but I hate using it. with the chest rig on it fucks with my movement and flexibility. I think i'm going to take the padded belt off and just use the cobra belt to put stuff on.
>>33086257
Man, that jacket and grey gear looks cool as fuck.
>fuddgun
:(
Ya dun goofed.
>>33088992
I think you're old enough to be my dad
>>33089034
you'll want a smaller ifak and seperate your riflw and pistol magazines for a cobra/rigger/gunfighter belt like mine
>>33088954
you want to do this to distribute the weight on more surface area
>>33089059
>seperate your riflw and pistol magazines
I realized this as soon as I tried using it, I'll definitely be switching to that setup.
>>33087325
Is that a fucking SNUS pouche?
Does duty belt count.
>not a cop
>still own duty belt because /k/omfy and why not?
>>33091861
probably. i know a guy that has one of those kind of pouches for a boresnake though.
he has one of the kydex holsters for his dip.
>>33089039
i have additional set-ups for my rifles. But, the 12ga rig pictured is the thing I'd grab in any real world sustained defensive situation.
Enjoy your operator fantasies though...
>>33095007
Shotguns are objectively inferior for combat in almost every way. You have a polymer pistol, but you're just the modern version of the guy who says he'll never use a "plastic gun". It makes sense that people would be confused when you break out a battle belt with a duck hunting implement.
>>33095007
>Enjoy your operator fantasies
Says the guy with 90s operator fantasies.
>>33087516
But speedloaders are tacticool
>>33084455
This if at all.
>>33095067
I train with each of my weapons platforms and generally train with my rifles more frequently. However, for what I imagine are *realistic* scenarios where I'd be using a long gun defensively: a 12ga is what I would grab over my AR, AK or .308 semi's.
my primary reasons are: one shot stop effectiveness, ease of hitting moving target, no magazines to loose while heart pounding and adrenaline pumping.
I'm not in the military and wouldn't be engaging in open combat. My objectives would be defense and evasion in any situation where I thought I needed a gun.
Clearly, there are differing opinions so talk shit at will.

look, Id rather have 30 rounds of 5.56
but that has a lot to do with how much time and effort and money ive put into ar15,
fuck anon, use the weapon system that YOU are most effective with
