Hey /k/ommandos.

Semi-autos in .30-06

Does anyone have any good recommendations for a semi-automatic, magazine-fed rifle chambered in .30-06?

So far the only thing I've found is the Noreen BN-36.

I love my Garand - but I'd like to have this caliber round in an AR like platform.

NO - I don't want to go to .308/7.62.

There aren't any good semi .30-06
If you insist on getting one, the hcar is about the least worst.

Or step up to .300wm or .300 norma

Why though? Going to .308 would give you so many options that are less than 70 years old.

So I guess the BN-36 is the only good semi-auto in .30-06.

Also - it's a multi-caliber weapon system - so if I want - I can expand out to .300 - or 7MM wm etc...

I guess Noreen's BN-36 LRA in .30-06 is in a class by itself.
