I just saw a new 10- 22 for sale in my King county WA Big5 for $225. Is this a good price? I know it's in the ballpark. Also 10- 22 thread

Nope. Pic related is typically under 200. For 230 I got a new stainless with a 25 round Ruger mag.
Thx bud it was standard with a 10 rounder so definitely will not buy

Yeah I haven't gotten a gun at big faggot sense I was 19 or 20. I'm in Oregon btw. Yeah just wait or look online. Armslist? For a blued with a shit stock I wouldn't pay more than 190. FYI, get the Magpul x22 hunter when you get one. Fucking fantastic stocks!
>>33073230
Bullshit I can't find jack for under $200, even used.
Cheapest I've seen around town here is $230, WallyWorld had it at $209 but with tax it was closer to $230.

Small ffl's can be more expensive than a big box store because of a few reasons...
Smaller 01 ffl's are pretty much entirely having to use distribution or wholesalers. Big chain stores with buying power are often direct with manufacturers.
An ffl who uses a middle man is subject to what's called map pricing. It's the min prices allowed physically displayed. Some don't fallow the rules. Just understand if you go into a smaller ffl and it's savage, Ruger, Remington, the typical fudd brands, most guys don't have a whole lot of negotiable room but it doesn't hurt to ask if they could shave off 20 bucks. When I sale hits a big box store they are still making good money.
Post your optics or eye-ron sights
>>33073638
No optics yet.

I'm gonna switch to Tech Sights soon though.
I bought the scope so I can dial it for 250yards but I've only shot it at 250 literally twice so what's the point.
>>33073718
How much is too much to pay for a low-power scope? Also how far out can you really expect to go before your groupings suffer?
Does anyone know of a cheap scope that will fit into the take-down bag?
Buy the cheapest one you can find and mod the shit out of it
Paid $219 for this.

Post tacticool guns

Oh hey it's you, that guy with the weird looking quilt.
>>33075861
They're tassels or some shit.
My great-grandma made like 6 of those blankets like 40 years ago.

I don't know what catches my eye more...Why your mag is taped or that thing called a dog.
I just ordered tech sights but now I realize I have no way to install the front sight since I lack a brass punch or vice grips or anything.
>>33076645
Use ur dick.
>>33075500
did you paint over the 3 in p-223?
>>33076645
I just took my 10/22 into the funsmith, he removed the front sight and didn't charge in exchange for keeping the sight. Of course your gunsmith might be different.

That scope is a BSA Sweet 22 and I got it for like $40 before rings. Really it varies due to different rounds, barrel lengths, etc. but most .22 out of most barrels will be subsonic before 150 yards and its hard to be consistent when the bullet goes subsonic.
When I shoot 250 yards I can hit a chest sized plate pretty constantly but sometimes the round would end up like 6 inches+ off target because the wind blew it away and/or it went off course when it went subsonic.

One of my TI mags works near flawlessly and the other double feeds if you load more than 18 rounds in it.
The tape is on the good one.

Paid $200 and got the 50 year anniversary edition that comes with a rail and other stuff
wait for a better price
