The biggest advantage of the AR7 over the 10/22 is that it packs up into a nice neat and waterproof package that can be attached to the outside of your pack in it's own thing.

The 10/22 does have the aftermarket and can have a scope or whatever and fiber sights.

I can't say I would have bought it. It was neat when we were doing our survival BS but I'd rather have a folding 22/410 over that.

Every time you put the barrel on, your zero shifts. You can't have an optic attached to the barrel rail (sold separately) and collapse it into the stock. The safety sucks. The plastic barrels suck. The sight adjustment sucks. The trigger is literally full blown AIDS. The new production magazines without wire feed lips are shit. The factory configuration MIGHT float but probably won't. Anything but very high velocity ammo is asking for trouble.

I spent way too much money trying to make the gun not complete shit, and failed.

For that $219 you could almost have a Ruger 10/22 Takedown my dude.

there are some decent deals on there from time to time. seems worse lately - ppl offering $1050 for m4a1 lowers, $400 for used, "unknown round count colt 10.3" barrels, $1200 colt upper, 10.3 barrel and 4 prong.

There were a few $700 sr15 lowers a few months ago, I got a couple of BNIB SSA's on there for $170, p good deals on acogs, and colt brand colt lowers pop up for ~$300 fairly often.

I'm going to go against the trend and say that for as much as I like the T1 and don't want the MRO on my M4, I think that the MRO is nicer than the T1.

Maybe I lucked out with my MRO and didn't get one with issues others had suffered from. But the dot is crisper, the glass is clearer, I don't have any noticeable magnification on my MRO, and I like the FOV.

I'm still selling the MRO, but I just wanted to post my opinions between the two after now having the MRO, an H1 and a T1. Still no experience with a T2 for what its worth.

That said, from the reviews on the MRO, it seems to be a mixed bag and you don't know exactly what you're getting, especially if you don't buy it in person and get a chance to inspect it first. Not saying it's the best, but out of the three red dots I own, I've gotta give it to the MRO.

I really haven't had much issue with glare either. Yeah, I've had glare but at least with my MRO it wasn't nearly as bad as it is made out to be and doesn't make it unusable. I didn't think it was too distracting unless I was being overly critical of it while play around with it. It had to be bright as fuck out with the sun or light directly behind you at a certain angle, but if you are focused on the dot and not inspecting it for flaws, it isn't bothersome.

I just wanted to throw it out there for those who might be on the fence about the MRO and don't want to spring for an Aimpoint. I'd definitely recommend it, as long as you can check it out beforehand unless Trijicon gets their shit figured out. Maybe they have, but last I heard people were having mixed reviews.

I'm still selling it and keeping the T1 though.
