Del-Ton comes with magpul furniture though...
>>33065737
>paying $177 more for a worse rifle with no rear sight and fagpul furniture.

As much hate as it gets...
I got my comp / speed rifle down to 8 lbs with barebones and magpul shit.
it does the job well
>>33065737
a full set of basic magpuls like $100
>>33065834
Seems like the description in the link anon provided for the M&P 15 sport says that the barrel is chrome lined. Is that right? I didn't think it would be for their most basic AR.

It's melonite afaik

They fucked me with their PSAK-47 GB2 build kit (unblemished) I had to file like 3mm more notch for the lower handguard clamp thing. Never buying another gun from their. Fuck them.

>>33066343
too late faggot. nothing personal, kid.
>>33066249
I have that exact upper on one of my rifles and it has been great, PSA has good budget stuff
>>33065662
del ton rifle kit is on sale at primary arms for like 350 right now. add a lower for about 100 and there you go
Where can I find an AR build list with brand names included for each part? I want to build an AR and I don't care that I'll basically be copying someone else's build. I just want to build a quality rifle for less than it would cost to buy a fully assembled one.
>>33066585
You aren't really going to build anything cheaper than the M&P 15 if you are just going for a barebones m4gery
is 500 good for a used m&p 15? I might ask them to go lower but if they refuse, I'll just go with Windham or delton
>>33067838
its good enough might be able to talk em down 20 bucks or a free box of ammo but i wouldnt hold my breath if theyre selling it at 500 the profit margins pretty low unless they bought it from a moron
>>33067838
is it a gen1 m&p or a gen2? the gen1 is missing a couple of things the gen2 has
>>33067903
it's from a batch of ar15s the police department sold to them so they are very used. the others are 700 - out of my range.
>>33067931
I just know it's not the sport versions it just says m&p 15, nothing else
>>33067838
You can buy a new sport 2 for that much.
>t. posted the link in the first post.
>>33066676
Does the Sport II handguards have the heatshields?
>>33065662
OP, get this Aero AC-15M instead
http://www.brownells.com/firearms/rifles/semi-auto/ac-15-5-56x45mm-nato-16-mid-length-rifle-prod82606.aspx
>mid-length gas system
>1/7 twist rate (better than 1/9 in the delton)
>Aero has a better reputation than Delton
>cheaper
>>33066585
>I just want to build a quality rifle for less than it would cost to buy a fully assembled one.
Only gonna save money on something weird like a 6.8 pistol with that spike's skull lower.
