If you could have any 44 magnum revolver, what would you get?

A .357 in .357 magnum
this one, that's why i bought it.
Ruger
Got one, 5.5 inch Redhawk.
Handles recoil surprisingly well, though WWB isn't exactly a barn burner.

S&W model 19 in .357mag
>>33065213
How do you like it? I have a chance to grab any S&W for a huge discount. Looking to get a 44mag.
>>33065245
i haven't shot it in a while, but i enjoy it for what it is.
>not a caliber that is a .45 colt
>the size in its name is actually the diameter of th bullet, unlike 44 magnum which is .429"
>not being able to fit as much powder as the 45 colt and not surpass the older cartridge knowing the age it was designed.

Who. The. Fuck. Cares.
It's a big fuck'n gun. Would you want to get shot with one?
>>33065296
That's why you should have N frames in both calibers.
>>33065163
Bisley SBH

>no dragoon trigger guard
fan fucking tastic.
>>33065333
just saying, its not even a .44" caliber. its .429"
and that you're a faggot
>>33065163
Just the Model 29-2 that I already have.
>Old school -2 P&R S&W from their prime, great quality
>Not chunky and fat like Ruger or Taurus, or ugly
>Classy and good looking, Colt's snakes are a bit gaudy imo
I was lucky to pick this guy up for $700 cash just a couple months ago. ~90% condition, though the grips are mismatched.

It's the most powerful handgun in the world.
I wouldn't. But if I had to, River Alaskan.
I'd prefer a River Alaskan in .45/454

.44 mag's great-grandparent cartridge is the. 44 American, which used a heeled bullet and therefore did have a .44 inch bore.
45 has more case capacity but 44 has thicker chamber walls in the same size gun, making for a stronger gun able to withstand more powerful loads with less wear or danger of failure.
Wish Ruger offer a blued option for some of their DA revolvers.
I....want a 5" or 6.5" one now. And have some fun with trail boss loads.

Did you know the original script for Dirty Harry called for a 4" barrel 29 with nickel finish?
>>33067816
5 inch is best inch
>>33067766
