If they pass a headspace check with .308WIN gauges then yes. The pressure differential is less than 2K PSI (and nonexistant if using European C.I.P.-spec .308WIN) but .308 brass is generally thinner and you don't want it to stretch too much. If it doesn't close on a no-go .308 gauge it's good.

It's the best rifle I own, but that's a given. Everything you hear about the recoil being tame even for 5.56 is true, but it's probably a factor of the BCG being twice as big as an AR. Honestly you can't go wrong with a SCAR if you have the cash.

Yes, I had to buy replacement upper and lower handguards for it. Its missing the forward sling swivel still. I'm selling it because it's a pretty rough Ishapore thats 4MOA. The "jungle carbine" is worse. I've also got about 400 rounds of surplus ammo for them that I've been thinking about selling with it, but I would like to one day get another Enfield but I don't know if its worth hauling around.

Thanks. It's just a Century M74 but I think it's better built than any other Century AK I've handled. It might be on the chopping block to fund my other projects as well.

I would go with ARs then. Buy like 6 lowers from Classic arms for $40 apiece and have them shipped to a cheap FFL who gives discounts for multiple (I got mine for $53 apiece in my hands). PSA has parts kits with rear sights included for like $400 or less on sale shipped right now. You could build a ton of identical rifles and then stock up on mags. Keepshooting had gen2 pmags with window for $4.50 last week.

I've looked into getting one of those czech trainers rockets in 7.62x39 but they alone are $1500+

Spending that much alone, never mind the price of the tube and a DD stamp and everything else, to create a super heavy single shot short 7.62x39 with a super short barrel and low velocity isn't worth it.

Should get a standard AR and sell the Sig/HK and just get a good glock. Even a compact glock can use 33 round magazines. I'd sell the Npap as well and get a standard wasr or an AR. Otherwise, looks good.

Tell me I need a shotgun pls. Saw a mossberg 500 18in 6 shot at a pawn shop for $219 the other day. Would have bought it if the fudd filling out a 4473 down the counter remembered where he was born; clerk didn't help me for 20 minutes so I left.

I really don't like the 6 shot capacity but for just over $200 I felt like I could just get it over with and finally have a cheap shotgun.

Should I grab it or spend the extra and buy one with the longer tube (and probably a 590 series)?

I love my Kimber, shoots like a dream. I got the Stainless Steel model, and I've fingerfucked it a lot. Kimber QC seems to have improved lately, I was hesitant as well with the rusting issues they've had in the past. Los Angeles Swat issues Kimber TLE to their officers so it seems to be better now.

My guns are all completely legal according to California "laws". My AR's are all in compliance, correct length, no flash hiders, vtg, etc. My concern is cameras and phones giving my coordinates when I put the pictures on the internet. I know I'm overthinking things, criminals aren't smart enough to pull gps off my pictures, etc etc. But better to be safe than sorry.
In my local area, it doesn't happen often, but last year a local gang followed people home from the range. Broke into a few LEO's homes and stole all their guns. Its made me super paranoid lately.

That counts. Out of ordinary cartridges, I think 762x39 is the minimum for good mud busting fun. 22's like your 222 rem or 223 have the speed and melt through steel like a hot knife through butter though. Steel that does this to steel cored 762x54r and 545x39.
