Is robotic infantry the next step in ground warfare?
Yup.

No. Enhanced humans comes way before

No. Go back to your videogame or cartoons board

I never understood why they try so hard to make bipedal robots. There's no advantage whatsoever over a quadruped of something with 6-8 legs or even tracks/wheels

Humanoid features allow robots to fight effectively in urban a areas built for humans to move and walk in, like in a building with stairs.

This.
no, we're not even close to the dexterity and battery power required for humanoid robots. The "next step" would be something actually achievable like a tag-a-long robot that carries your stuff. After that would be armed robots that shoot where you lase, let them carry the mortar.

So did they put tits on the robot just to give me an erection, or...?

Getting them to walk is still a problem. Not even talking about the intelligence of the AI and adaptability. It would be easier to make Exo-suits, or something for normal humans then to make expensive ass robos to do.
Maybe.

That's the thing though, bipedal robots will be needed if you want to completely replace humans, but bipedal robots are needlessly complicated and expensive.
