Been thinking about getting a red dot sight for my AR. Heard good things about the Vortex Strikefire II. Anyone here use it, or have their own suggestions for RDS?

If you are gonna buy a cheap bulky piece of shit.... Buy a good one.

Di Optical RV 1 (NOT RV2)

Milspec and used by South Korean Military.

240$

Basically a comp m4.

Can drive over it with a car.

Takes AA battery. (Can stay always on for 20,000 to 10,000 hours.) 3 years.

Just don't get the RV2, they tried to modify the Rv1 with it, and they haven't worked out the bugs.

I was about to buy the RV1 and have decided to save up my moneys for a Comp m4s or Aimpoint t2.

So does the RV1 have any bugs?
>>
I have one on my AR, It's heavy and uses weird ass batteries, other then that its not honorable, but you can get a lot better sight for the money.

It used a mechanical dial, opposed to the RV2 using electronic buttons. The problem with the RV2 has been the auto on and motion sensor shit and buttons they did.

The RV1 has been used by SK military and im pretty sure it is sold cheap by using military surplus parts.

I was literally about to order the RV1 next month, but I have decided to buy a hyperfire elc trigger and more ammo instead. I still have to buy a high end optical hopefully after starting a new Job soon. Aimpoint T2 for weight is in my mind right now.

like what? I hear people say this about vortex and its always followed up by "I'm (a broke NEET/a richfag) and you should buy (something that runs $100 less or in excess $150 more than what you were looking at)"
>>
I was gonna put this sticker on the DI optical logo because I think it looks gay.

Make it look like a Comp m4 clone. (which is really what it is anyway, they copied the design.)

>Milspec is gud
Lol faggot.

I have a Vortex spitfire 1x Prism scope and dont have any complaints except the wire that holds the caps for the adjustments is a bit stiff so I cut mine off, I've also used the StrikeFire II and I found it to work pretty good as well. Usually found for $200 or less is pretty nice too, also the Warrenty is GOAT and Vortex has actually bretty great lenses. I forgot who they broke off from I want to say Swarvoski but unsure, either way OP theyre pretty nice I also run a Vortex 12x on my T3 30-06 and have 0 complaints.

Anyone have opinions on the Lucid red dots? Specifically the HD7?
>>
>>33052084
I have one
It can hit targets at 100-150 yards pretty easy but its not very aesthetic looking, you might wanna wait and save up for something more aesthetically pleasing
>>
>>33052855

i have the holosun eotech ripoff and its really nice
>>
>>33052084
I've been running that, specifically with the mount in your pic, on my fal for a few months now, helped tighten up my groups substantially compared to the standard rear sight, and has held zero well despite the heavier recoil
