I didn't make it to the CBus meet last week, but I heard it was fun...

Ranges in Cinci is similar to your pic, but since theres only one of us who is a member, he can only bring 3 guests there...

Other options are indoor ranges, and definitely not as fun, but they do have a 100 yard indoor range.

Only people in your party are allowed out there so you can have the place to yourself for 4 hours for only $20. 200' x 10' tall berm with a maximum range of 300yd.

I have a few steel plates that I hang from a stand similar in construction to the one in the center. a 5 foot threaded steel pipe and 4-30" steel pipes for legs. Connect everything with two T's and two street elbows. Very easy to transport and setup. Can handle direct hits from most pistol rounds without significant damage.

What I mean is, if you go in enough that they call you a regular and trust you to stay on target then they'll give you more freedom.

Hell I've been to a couple ranges with "no rapid fire" where some old dude had his full auto.

I was at shoot straight in Florida and some guy comes over to let us know he was gonna shoot his loud gun. I went and watched, it was a full auto .308 with an 8" barrel and a comp. I felt like a hooker who was getting pimped slapped.

There's one range I know of here in the Falls but it's a crap 25yd indoor range with absurd prices and now you have to pay for a membership ($150-250/yr).

Yeah, I do sometimes. Expensive as hell. Ammo is usually a ripoff. Firearms and accessories are usually a ripoff. Can't use steel case "because it damages the backstop", but zinc-plated steel case is perfectly fine. I know they collect the brass and sell it to an ammo remanufacturing company, but they insist on lying to my face.
Range officers are generally OK nowadays. When it first opened, there was one with a permanent stick shoved up his ass about "rapid firing". I was shooting 1 shot per second with a .22LR pistol. I asked him what he considered rapid firing and he couldn't tell me. I don't think he's there anymore.

Is LEPD a good range/gun shop? Was going to sign up for their practical handgun classes because I'm a shit shot with a handgun, and want to get better. A friend recommended them to me after doing a 1 on 1 training with an instructor there and felt he learned a lot.
