I enjoyed the life style they had, the esprit de corps, sense of belonging and higher purpose. I know being an xo is meant to suck, but from here out in my career I just get further and further from soldiers (main reason I joined being wanting to directly impact soldiers lives). If I go sf it'll be like having an even smaller platoon except high speed as fuck and I'll actually get to do trigger shit myself instead of just ordering it all.
