Anything thag stands out in you mind, weight, recoil, accuracy, reliability, was the ROF controlable?
dumping a couple

It was pretty heavy, at least for a 9mm weapon, recoil pretty much didnt exist as a result of this and Id rate it pretty accurate, we fired at 200 m and hitting a mansized target wasnt that hard.
The RoF was good, as it was only FA the RoF had to be rather low to allow you to do single shots if needed.
Also, it was reliable as hell, It just never seemed to jam, despite beeing 50+ years old.

Why are those quieter than other open-bolt SMGs?
(if they actually are)
>>33051464
I dont think they were?
Or, there was a suppressor available in the US verision I think, but having only fired the swedish one I think it was pretty damn loud.
>>33051440
You'd think those pouches up front would get in the way

Looks like they make a pretty good arm/ weapon rest when standing but yeah. Probably flap around when you try to run.

Thanks! I appreciate you taking a second to reply.
That's good to know, did they tell you the magazine design helped reliability?
>>33050738
Why aren't clear plastic grips more common these days? Especially for CC guns they make a lot of sense.
tfw you will never be this retro
>>33051489
I mean the action is quieter when suppressed than other SMGs.

They look tacky and clear polymer is more likely to fail.
You can buy clear 1911 grip pannels online though, if you feel the need.

>Soviets capture a metric fuckton of Nazi materiel and supplies
>keep it in storerooms God knows where in Russia
>African, Asian, and Middle Eastern countries start breaking out into conflicts
>Soviets start supplying the locals who are fighting for things in the USSR's interests
>first thing they offload on these guys is the leftover German guns, gear, tools, and ammo
>once the stock of captured supply is depleted, they start shipping crates of AKs and RPGs out
It's pretty fascinating, actually. There are countries in Africa where rebels could be seen wearing SS camo smocks and carrying STG44s back during the initial period of decolonization and the first wave of civil wars in post-colonial Africa in the 60s.
