My uncle bought this from a flea market in Thailand and asked me to help find out if it's worth anything.

I know nuts about weapon resale but from what I can infer from coin collecting, the item can be sent to experts who will study it and issue a certificate of authenticity (at a cost).

Hoping the gentlemen of /k are able to shed some light on this.

P.S. imho it looks like a cheap replica
