Why even bother?

It's a snowflake gun for a snowflake person.
Disgusting
>>33040059
fucking this
way overpriced for what it is
>>33040019
Because muh Glock. Now imagine this. A Glock 43 but with a longer barrel and a longer grip to allow 10+1. So it would be kinda like a Glock and a 1911 had an abomination of a child. I'd buy one.
>>33040019
It's good for women and small men who have trouble concealing bigger things.
I'd rather have an LCP for deep concealment so that's what I got for that.
>>33040084
A single-stack Glock 9mm, the height and length of a 19, with an accessory rail, would be pretty great.
If nothing else, it would mean having factory 9- or 10-round extendo clips for the 43.
>>33040084
>full size single stack glock
I'd buy the fuck out of that and I don't normally even consider strikers

fuck you guys, I have tiny hands
>>33040156
Sauce on that image?

How tall are you?

Especially considering the inevitability of 5+1 .40 S&W, 5+1 .357 SIG, and 3+1 .45 GAP models.

You'd be surprised to know that in most defensive shootings, the attacker is not killed but rather runs away (sometimes injured, sometimes not) just for (from?) being shot at. But, DESU, I rather carry something double stack with at least 10rds, even at the risk of printing.

XDS 4.0
>carry farearm for the purpose of self defense
>compromising the function of the weapon for it's purpose in favor of concealment
if it's not at least 10 rounds why bother with it for actual self defense use? youre just gonna die knowing you wasted 500 bucks instead of being alive knowing you spent the best 500 bucks of your life literally
>>33040324

The best carry gun is the one you actually carry.
Normies aren't willing to pack 2.5+ lbs of Glock 19, Surefire X300U, and a spare mag or two, day in, day out, on the off chance they get into a serious gunfight.
thinking about a glock 26 for pocket carry what you think?
>>33040465
get bigger pockets and carry a Roland Special
>>33040019
it's, uh more concealable and lighter than bigger guns? while still being quicker to reload and having 20% more bullets than a j-frame.
>>33040487
>there's people out there who EDC this
>>33040487
Roland special. best pistol in existance.
>>33040400
I told you. A snowflake gun for those snowflake ppl.

>>33040706
Post SD and AH chart.
>>33040566
All the extra size is at or below your beltline, so it's not like it's any harder to conceal than a normal 19, the light, comp, and optic only weigh about as much as a loaded magazine, and it fits in any holster that accommodates an RMR- and X300U-equipped Glock 34.
The Roland Special is a totally reasonable carry gun.
>>33040361
What's the likely hood of needing more than 7-8
rounds in any self defense senario? I'll wait.
I own a G43. Lives in the glove box because I have a better carry piece. Been thinking about making it a backup and putting it in an ankle holster.
>>33042509
For people who spend too much on the gun and their tacti-cool and not enough on ammo and training so they miss 70% of the time
>>33040185
Just let the Secret Service agents do their job for you then, sir.
>10rnd carry state
>+2 base plate 8+1
>slim single stack
honestly its fine senpai, if you dont like it, dont buy it, wanna carry 23 mags of 45acp? be my guest, id prefer you do actually, but me personally, i have had no complaints having a 43.
>>33042112
Whatever makes you happy. . . .
>>33040329
>>33040569
For gear queers and primadonna doorkickers with DOD budgets.
>>33040566
Even more shocking is there are people who legitimately believe it's not a IPSC racegun, but a legit defensive pistol.
>>33042112
No, it's not.
It's tacticool horseshit bolted onto a decent carry gun. There is NO reason for a comp on a defense gun.
People who use Roland Specials for actually shooting people do not use it as a primary, can just replace any part with budget, and have other guys with carbines backing them up.
>>33042509
>>33040019
Because it's the most concealable Glock that isn't a 42.
I was used to carrying a Sig P238 for years in Arizona summers. I wanted to move up to a 9mm without giving up the extremely light weight and ability to disappear under nothing more than a thin t-shirt.
The 43 fit the bill.
>>33040019
The neighborhood hero ZimZam only need one
>>33040019
>More rounds than a j frame
>More advanced ammunition design
>Higher one shot stop rate
>TT baseplates
Why wouldn't you?
>>33044466
>I wanted to move up to a 9mm without giving up the extremely light weight
The 43 is three ounces heavier, empty, and shoots heavier ammo.
I wouldn't be surprised if moving up to the 43 didn't add at least a quarter pound to your loadout.
>>33040059
This
I know someone who has something similar and I hate his fucking guts

For_what_purpose.tapestry
>>33045012
Because this is /k/
If it's not in 10mm auto or .45 ACP you might ad well not carry it. Lord help us if it was in .40 s&w, the grenade memes wouldn't end
>>33047092
It was an incremental step up in size and weight in exchange for a slightly more effective cartridge than what I was already carrying.
The key thing for me was that it was still slim enough for me to hide easily. That's why I went for the 43 over the 26 when I upgraded.
>>33040019
It's the second smallest (CM9/PM9) and the smallest of the major players in grip length.
Some people would rather make the grip 1/4" shorter and lose a round than have something harder to conceal.
G43: 4.25
LC9s: 4.5
Shield: 4.6
You can also get a magguts spring to fit 7 rounds in the Glock.
Personally I just carry a Glock 26, but some people feel the need to have a thinner gun. Why they then choose one of the only single stacks over 1" I don't know, but they do.
