trying to decide between red and green for a tr24, seems like there's pretty minimal consensus online. I figure either will probably be fine in the daylight, more concerned with low-light.
any thoughts?

Red is more useful in all environments. Doesn't it have both? What's going on anon?
>>33021829
Personal preference. Go to a gun store and with both and see which you prefer

red
>>33021829
I personally own the red. It's an excellent optic so good choice there. You'll probably appreciate the red more I think.

Red looks cooler, it literally doesn't matter.
thanks guys. unfortunately I've yet to encounter a gun store around me with a decent optics selection, I'll just hope I make the right call

red contrasts better with more possible backgrounds. Green might blend in on a bright day in the woods. Red is a pretty unnatural color so it stick out.

red lights do not deminish your night time visiblity in dark conditions as other spectrum of lights do.

I should say as much as other colors at the same brightness settings.

Fuck yeah brah.
I was just going to post this.
Red light night light
Man, what a fucking waste of amazing glass. Why does Trijicon make a bomb proof, amazing quality optic and then put in a shitty reticle?
it doesn't matter
but if you have to choose, go red. red light is better to keep night vision capability if your eyes are adjusted to the dark.

As opposed to what? Bright green?
>>33022821
It's not a long range optic and as such doesn't need a complex BDC stupid nigger
Doping with a 4.5 moa triangle is simple for intermediate and close range shots

Still, Primary Arms, Vortex, Leupold, SWFA, and God knows how many more have done the same thing (making a short range optic,) that can still be used to reach out at longer ranges. You and Trijicon can both get fucked.
