Once upon a time, a country known as Chile elected a socialist ruler. This ruler was known as Allende. Allende did a lot of damage to his country, including bringing down everyone's wages by 66% and essentially turning his country into your typical socialist hellscape. But then a savior came, in the form of a man known as Pinochet. This man overthrew Allende with a military coup, and then instituted a liberalization of the economy that would lead to it having the best economy in the Americas short of the USA and Canada. But, danger still lurked, for the communists were still hiding in every corner. But Pinochet was a clever man, and he knew how much the communists loved free stuff, so he offered free helicopter rides to these communists. B little did they know that it was a one way trip, and as their little bodies splattered on the ground, Chile became freer and more prosperous, one communist corpse at a time. The end.

Correct. South America has a phenomenon called "desaparecidos", or disappeared persons, political dissidents that literally vanish without a trace. Simplest way they make this happen is by weighing bodies down and dumping them in the ocean, normally via throwing them out of a helicopter. Most of the time it's a routine "transport" between airbases that just happens to load obscure cargo, path over open water, and land unladen.
