I don't deny they sell that but +P has to do with SAAMI specs which don't exist for the 380. Some manufacturers do build guns that are rated for such ammo, and many use it without incident. Just saying that there's no industry standard +P for 380 in the way there is for 9mm, 45, etc

If someone started selling more 380 it'd go down in price, the internet is the only thing keeping a lot of bullet prices reasonable since you can just have them shipped from anywhere. A lot of calibers would just go out of production entirely now if it were not for the internet.

This is rather funny. I remember paying $5.99 for a 50 round box of 9mm Rem UMC and $6.99 for .38spcl and .380acp. A box of .45 ACP was around $11.99, and this was about early 2000s.
Once the LCP came out, 380 skyrocketed, and once conceal carry got approved in a lot more states, 38 special went way up. Then after the ammo crisis of 2008-2016, all prices went up. At least 9mm is back around $10 a box and I've been getting .45 on sale for around $13-14. I'm still waiting for .38 and .380 to drop cheap again, but with demand, who knows how long it will be.
On the same subject, defensive ammo is what really kills me. A box of premium ammo such as the HST or Gold Dot, all cost the same whether it is 9mm, .40sw, or .45ACP. There might be a $1 difference.
