The next generation is slightly more fiscally conservative than this generation, but they are socially more liberal than any other generation. Combine that with the acceptance of refugees and you'll realize that the west as we know it is doomed. The average german is 40+ right now. They're simply not having kids. This is why the refugees are actually a necessity in many western euro countries. Without a huge influx of young men, there would be no way to feed the massive welfare states that many western europeans voted for over the past few decades. It's a big melting pot in Europe these days and the Europeans love it. Merkel is poised to win handily in the next election while radical fringe movements like the AfD are being stopped dead in their tracks. I know it's hard to imagine, but the benefits of migration actually far outweigh the negatives, and immigration will only increase as time goes on.

This also brings the future of refugees and migrants into the discussion. As the migrants come to these new lands, they bring their children and wives, and fully intend to have many more children. While westerners seem to hate the idea of kids, people from other cultures still find having children to be enjoyable and worthwhile. This is 90% of the reason why refugees and migrants are so crucial to the global economy. At the end of the day, europeans caused this problem by having fewer kids
