Alright anons, in the Marin Crops they are always bitch at people on the range, on table 2 specifically.

This makes no sense. The m16a4 was designed to be shot from a bladed position, hence the increase in stock length (also done to decrease hitting yourself in the eye). And if you try to square your hips you end up with this twisted stupid presentation thats awful and unbalanced.

Pushing this "square off doctrine" also insinuates that you're going to stand in the open and square off with an opponent. Not move and utilize cover or crouch or something.
But when standing;

Well the argument is this:
The m16a4 was designed to be fired from bladed stance. Coaches yell up and down firing line about "square off with your target, muh sapis!". Thus, once again, Marine Crops coaches are telling me stupid shit and I should just shoot however works with the gear I'm wearing.

the reason why people square up is because if you get shot it hits your fucking sapi plate. if you shoot from the side you're less likely to get shot because of a small profile but you get shot on the side where there's no armor
