M14 vs FN FAL

I've shot the M14 and FAL both on full-auto. I found the M14 to be more pleasent. It just went straight up and was easier to compensate for.

So I prefer the M14.

Depends on the catagory... I'm not sure about reliability, but in terms of accuracy, an M-14 that isn't babied will do about as well as an FAL that isn't fucked up in the main joint. They both do 2-3 MOA easily. In terms of ergonomics I prefer the FAL because I have a proclivity to dislike the semigrip stock, and am not all that enamored with walnut. The safty on the FAL can be a little difficult to reach when switching it off if you have a type 3 receiver and the M1A gives me a hard time as well with its pretty heavy requirement of force to overcome.
