.45 for stophin pawa', rail for laser + flashlight, threaded for silencer, and top rail for holo sight.
But mostly I like the bulky "heavy pistol" feel.

make sure you find your fingers once they get blown off, I don't think they'll repair it for free unless you provide proof of dismemberment
I'd take this and an AR with the Hera CQR furniture for maximum FUTURE aesthetics
>>33006722
Brazil makes some quality revolvers. The Raging Bull series is quality.
What don't you like specifically about the model 444?
>>33006555
Anon, that's not how you use that phrase. You would say
Have you even seen one in person? Let alone held one?
>>33006829
>Brazil makes some quality revolvers.
>>33006865
Are you going to just run your mouth like a fucking faggot, or are you going to give me some knowledge on what's wrong with the Taurus 444?

There are no substitutes.
>>33006883

Don't be an assmad huemonkey. Taurus revolvers are okay if you're a poorfag, but they're dogshit compared to anyone else. If you like machine marks, cylinders losing timing, gritty triggers, pitted bores from the factory, and sights falling off, then get one.
step aside peasants. You should at least be well equiped to fight off a cyberdeamon
>>33006859
sorry, I don't get out much and I find myself often misusing phrases and using words I can't quite remember the exact definition of like an exchange student with bad english
>>33006941
>Taurus revolvers are okay if you're a poorfag
The 444 is the about the same price as any other .44 magnum on the market. Maybe 60-70 dollars difference iirc the last time I priced it.
>they're dogshit compared to anyone else.
>machine marks, cylinders losing timing, gritty triggers, pitted bores from the factory, and sights falling off
I've never heard of the 444 series having any of these problems.
I've seen S&W with machine marks and quality issues as well.
I don't think I've ever run a bore cam down any of the newer guns I've bought.
Sights falling off aren't even an issue unless you don't know how to fix it.
These all seem like opinions that you have, not facts about this particular model.
If you're just not a fan of Taurus that's fine, but there's no need to go and make shit up.
I prefer the Springfield series of pistols over Glock, but there's no reason to shit all over it when giving an opinion (that wasn't even asked for) to somebody.

>>33007574
Not the one you replied to, but name a quality American made pistol. No Hillary holes, no creepy, gritty, heavy triggers, no small calibers, no series 80 or other unnecessary "safety features."
A Smith & Wesson 5906 pistol, with the following features:
>frame is cerakoted tungsten gray
>slide is polished stainless, with the hammer, ejector and safety given a matte black or other nice dark colored cerakote for contrast (perhaps faux bluing)
>grips are a reddish wood, left side contoured to fit my palm, right side with some nice checkering
>enlarged slide release
>squared off trigger-guard
>Novak style rear sight (and night sights, really)
>MecGar flush fitting 17 round magazines, fitted with +2rd aluminum baseplates
>magwell beveled slightly
>trigger polished up by whatever expert gunsmith can make it smooth and light without damaging it
It would probably be too nice to carry, because I wouldn't ever want it to end up in an evidence locker and rot, but I think this would be a very excellent pistol for my tastes.
>>33010094
I forgot
>have magazine disconnect removed
>>33006654
Unless you don't have a lot of money, I would seriously suggest a Smith & Wesson or a Ruger for a .44 Magnum
>>33006722
Taurus' large caliber revolvers aren't really known for exploding, I'll have to give them that.
>>33006829
>Brazil makes some quality revolvers
Actually they're quite mediocre, and the Raging Bull line is about as good as Taurus gets.
Again, seriously suggesting a Ruger, at least you can count on customer service not trying to rape you if you have a problem (which you might).

They don't make those anymore (sadly), the GP100 series replaced it. Which are also good.
I mean, look at the GP100 Match Champion model in particular, now there's a fucking revolver. If you pay a bit extra, you can absolutely have a quality American handgun.

I still have my Ruger Security Six from 1974. Over the years, I've fired a -lot- of rounds through it, both .38 and full-power .357 Mag. It has never broken or failed. It's basically built like a tank.
Hoping that the GP-100 proves to be a worthy successor.

*smugface*
>>33028123
I think it's been proven for quite some time now.
It's not as sexy as a Security Six though, it kinda fails on that part.
A 1911 in .45 Super. However, this is no ordinary .45 Super. For a number of years I have been brainstorming a concept for an advanced version of the typical .45 Super JHP. This is what I call the "SATUR/K/AY NIGHT SPECIAL." The round starts with an overpressure variant of the already powerful .45 Super. Upon ignition of the propellant, a delayed ignition solid fueled rocket in the back of the slug ignites, giving the round 18 inches before the rocket starts burning, similar to how a bolter works. The round, in addition, has a thin sabot, protecting the barrel. Protect it from what, might you ask? The spring loaded stabilization fins, of course! Upon exiting the muzzle, the sabot peels away due to air resistance, potentially flying off into a hostile's accomplices, or even into the hostile's limbs or neck. And as we all know, there are some major blood vessels in the arms and legs. After the restricting sabot is discarded, the fins deploy and increase the spin rate, while the rocket increases the speed of the slug. When the round hits a target, you'll find that the round has a heat-resistant polymer tip, which will only deform on contact with denser objects and fluids, such as flesh or water. This means that the round has the least drag possible during flight. As the polymer deforms, the actual metal of the round expands rapidly, just like a hollow point!
But wait, there's more! Order now and we'll throw in a HARDENED TUNGSTEN DART CORE, ABSOLUTELY FREE! That's right, not only can you cause massive organ damage to soft-skin-spook Jamal, but you can also transfer massive amounts of kinetic energy through crazed-white-boy-Kyle's milsurp kevlar vest! Defend both your wallet AND your workplace, all with one round! Here's how it works! Should the round strike the body armor of a crazed schizoid, the soft, outer part of the slug peels away, revealing the sharp dart, which transfers major amounts of kinetic energy into the armor. Should the dart not penetrate the armor, the kinetic energy will still surely stun the hostile target, or even weaken the structural integrity of their armor. A quick Mozambique drill will finish our little Lanza off quick, eliminating the threat, and making you the hero of the office, and the enemy of CNN! Available at your local drunken Russian firearms dealer soon!
