Anyone on /k/ lived in a ghetto before?
>>33002967
Yes. I'm from Rocinha originally. What's up?
>>33002988
Just wondering how many here got interested in guns because they lived somewhere awful
>>33002967
>>33003001
Yeah, central FL. I wouldn't say it got me into guns but it definitely gave me the urge to have one on me at all times.
>>33002967
I've lived in urban South Africa and a tiny shitty town in North America with a meth problem.
Why do you ask?
>>33002967
Ghetto, not really, but the hood.
>>33003001
I've lived in the projects my whole life. Still do
I've had quite a few guns in my day
>>33002967
I was born and raised in Phoenix AZ. So yes.
What's the question?
>>33004074
What's the difference between ghetto and hood?
>>33004120
Not him. But by his lingo hood means less than a good area.
1/2 of a ghetto. Or 2 hoods = 1 ghetto.
>>33002967
I don't know if I'd call it a ghetto per se, but it was a bad neighborhood. Bunch of homeless and students who didn't give a shit.

That's sort of right. To me a hood is a suburban, lower middle class/working poor area while a ghetto is an urban, working poor/poor area.
I was mistaken, though, I did live in a ghetto for a couple years in the early 2000s.
Yeah
It wasn't the deep ghetto but I had anxiety walking from my car to my door
I probably wouldn't have been so /k/ had I picked a better neighborhood to live in after graduation
