Wedge grip is superior to traditional handgun grip in all ways when shooting pistols.

The ONLY downside is that you have to consciously switch to a thumbs down grip when you shoot revolvers, but even then that's a characteristic of all Leatham/Enos (thumbs forward) style grips.
