An AR costs less than a fucking Glock 19 holy fucking shit!
>>
I wonder if 7.62 is much more expensive
>>
>>32978041

Glocks are overpriced and shitty bargain bin ARs are popular.
>>
>>32978050
Hell yes. AR-10s still don't have standardization the way the AR-15 platform does and the economies of scale are much lower... and .30cal autoloaders are always expensive as fuck.
>>
>>32978057
this. it still costs some money to build or buy a mid-high quality AR and you still get what you pay for, even tho you really start getting diminishing returns after a certain price point.

What constitutes a "shitty bargain bin AR" for the average consumer? Most AR buyers probably don't put more than 1000 rounds per year down the barrel

I'd rather own a PSA AR build than some over priced polymer with trace metals.
>>

DPMS sportical.

Or really anything without an ejection port cover and forward assist.

I can't hate that much though, it was my first AR, which was quickly rebuilt.

Now the only thing that's still DPMS is the lower frame.
>>
>>32978177
I was thinking for a second that was referring to $500 builds. i was a little butt hurt, my $600 build is going on 3000 rounds in three months and it's yet to fail me in any way.
>>
>>32978177
>needing a forward assist

Possibly the most superfluous part of the rifle honestly.
>>
>>32978041
>450$ plus tax
Pretty cheap. Is there any way to go even further before you just have an AR-15 barrel and a hammer?

why is that guy holding his gun like a complete faggot?
>>
>>32978494
I've used it on a beat up M-16 to get the thing to chamber a few times.
The mags weren't mine.

$42 lower [dec 2015]
