This is a good thing, hear me out. Seoul is within artillery range of North Korea, and the arty pieces have been sitting there since the armistice was signed. If the Norks wanted to, they could fuck Seoul's (and by extension all of South Korea's) shit up. A conventional war in Korea would require a complete refocusing of the US's global strategy right now. Every stupid missile the Norks build and launch is money spent and gone that they can't use on real war stuff.

While this should not be discounted I really don't see the Norks actually hitting anything with that missile unless the target is so close to the firing position that an interceptor doesn't have time to get to the warhead.

Anyone have any idea how many people would probably die if the US, Japan, and South Korea secretly prepared a huge force to just invade North Korea and get it over with in a couple weeks?

Would it be worth it to save NK civilians from getting killed by their government and SK and the Nips from getting nuked, or would it be better to just hope NK collapses on it's own and doesn't try to go out with a bang once they have reliable missiles?
