Needs more sight heigh; too close to level of bore.
The mag is empty, I suspect because the ammo for it doesn't exist.

So... Is it an AR with a bolt-action grenade launcher on top?
OICW done right desu. I really dont know why burgers were so set on semi auto for the SABR program, even the Chinese went bolt action for their knockoff. Notably, both the ZH05 and K11 have been deployed for some years and well received by users, with the XM29 pissed away millions only to be dropped entirely for the grenade launcher component, which was optionally standalone back in 2005.

Pretty certain this gun is in James Bond Nightfire for the PS2

played the shit out of that on Gamecube...the multiplayer with remote control vehicles was topkek
How come all of our neighbours have cool new toys (small arms) but us Japs don't get enough funding for small arms? I'm jelly as fuck.
how much does it weigh and will it fit into my systems?
>>32973977
You can't even own small arms, Hiro.

Because some project manager/General was thinking "we live in the automatic age, make it something automatic. It won't be high-tech if you have to manually operate it."

It's called an OICW, the launcher fires airburst munitions and the huge optic calculates range with a laser range finder, you can set the shells to explode at determined distances, like, say, above a trench, or right inside a window.

The Chinese made their single-shot, and then made some of the electronics go outside the optic (mounted on the user's helmet), so their OICW is actually reasonably compact.
Also I would argue that just the XM25 is the way to go, make it a standalone launcher.

Almost, that would be based on the XM29, the American/German one. Pic related.
It was gas operated. And heavy as balls.
