Problem with chemical weapons is that if you notice there was any deployed near you is too late and you can't walk around with a gas mask all the time either since filters doesn't last as long as in video games.

Also to make things worse, chances are whatever was deployed will require more than a mask for you to survive which means your skin will most likely be what will kill you.

I would think so. The Czech mask is a pretty close copy.
If there is a differnce it would be in the securing threads.

As a pesticide applicator and former chemical plant worker I have probably spent more time in chem gear than most soldiers.
Mine is also more expensive and likely a lot more comfortable.
