Good choice anon. With that said, it's gay you guys have to wait 2 weeks to get a gun. Here in Kentucky you can go to the gun story and walk out with a piece in less than 30 minutes.

Learn how to lube your gun. Buy a pistol cleaning kit for around $10. If you plan to carry later on, find holsters that work for you, OWB/IWB, kydex/leather/etc... And finger fuck it everyday.

THE ALL mETAL GUIDE ROD IS NOT AN UPGRADE.
Do NOT GET ONE.

There is a reason why Cz uses polymer rods.
Here goes.

1. The stainless rod will not bend, so you must use a round spring with a larger ID.
The flat spring will not work.
2. A larger ID will no allow the rod to center correctly in your slide
3. The rod has a point at the end for this very reason. It slides up or down on the guide rod hole in ur slide.

This results in a few things
1. Excess wear on your gun due to the SS rod moving up and down every shot

2.excess wear on the rod itself (well noted on the Cz forums)

3. Excess noise from the spring not being seated.

4. Round springs have a shorter lifespan than the factory flat spring.

There is a reason Cz doesn't use metal rods in most of their guns.

Also note the sp-01 and p-01 are able to shoot 20,000 P+ loads without failure.
