What's the cheapest price I can get helmet mounted night vision for?
Side question: how can a tech-savvy dude make NV?
>>32961211
I literally have something similar to this. I couldn't believe the fucking thing actually worked.
>>32961211
Spy gear nvgs my man
>>32961211
What the fuck is this???
>>32962447
50 dollar "toy" night vision goggles made out of plastic that actually work really well.
>>32962519
its not really night vision though.
its an IR flood light with a camera
>>32960469
Literally why?
>>32962553
for zombies
>>32962519
>>32962540
Can you post a link to them?
>>32962553
shall not be infringed
>>32962540
In a real gunfight would an enemy with NODs see your IR flood-lights attached to your dome and canoe your ass, or does it not work like that?
>>32962577
not really but you can make them yourself with an IR flashlight and your cell phone.
i think the ones up there were some cheap inclusions in a splinter cell pre-order or something

unfortunately stupidity usually isn't.

Looks fun though that's pretty much it, a toy since it's a huge AIM AT ME if you ever got in a place where someone had actual night vision.
>>32962609
Yes, floodlights are very easy to see with any military gen. nvg.
>>32962638
Hahaha I thought so and I told a friend who was doing something similar just as much. Validation feels great famfag
>>32960469
no poor fags allowed. Full fighting NVG gen3 kit will cost you around 5k and your rifle needs to to be ir laser ready. Sales do happen which can save you a ton of money.
>>32962609
pretty sure it would be as bright as a regular flashlight on real night vision goggles or monocles
real night vision amplifies ambient light or overlays heat maps but the size, weight, portability and ruggedness is what makes them so expensive. You can make your own with parts but you'd be reliant on house electricity
>>32962609
You would literally show up to them as a gigantic bright green blob
>>32962620
nothing stupid about wanting something just because you think it's cool
ir=/=night vision
just sayin
>>32960469
You should try thermals instead.
Work both on day or night, put a nice thermal scope on your gun and call it a day.
Not very poorfag though, between 3 to 5k.
DESU an integrated IR floodlight/cheap IR goggle would be great for a home defense situation. If you could package an easy to use kit for a few hundred bucks it would sell like hotcakes to average Joe

IIRC, it was an older Call of Duty pre-order. I think it was MW2 or MW3.
